The outer chamber has lifting lugs for lifting and lowering of the outer chamber through material handling system. The inner chamber is welded to the base plate and the outer cylinder is welded to a SS 304L ring. The ring is fixed to the base plate. The inner surface of the conical chambers are coated with teflon. Pit Furnace : It is a muffled type made specifically for heat treatment of conical components after impregnation to a maximum temperature of 1000 degree C. The heaters are covered outside with glass wool / light weight brick insulation and finally covered with a outer casing. The heating elements are fixed all around the chamber. The top of the muffle has a insulated lid which can be swung away and brought back mechanically. Material Handling System : It consists of Hoist motor with chain pully arrangement of capacity 0.5 ton (500 kgs). Rail arrangement for X and Y movement. Controls for the hoist motor. The other components are the Vacuum pumping system, Measuring gauges, Liquid Tank, Hot air Blower, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for the automatic operation of the impregnation system. High Vacuum Chambers![]() Product Code : vt-HVC Description Vacuum Techniques "High Vacuum Chamber" is fabricated as per the customer requirement and is made of SS 304 material. It has a fully openable hinged door in the front, fixed with O-ring and clamp. On the side of the chamber two ports of required dia are provided and fixed with O-ring and dummy. The View Port is provided to view clearly inside the chamber and it is fixed with lead glass and metal shield. The pumping port is connected at the bottom of the chamber. The design of the chambers follows pressure vessel design as per ASME code Sec. VIII Div. I and the fabrication follows ASME code Sec. VIII. The chambers are fabricated by TIG Argon Arc welding following ASME Code Sec. IX. All welding joints are tested and radiograph as per ASME code and leak tested by Helium Mass Spectrometer Leak Detector better than 1x10-9 std cc/sec. Ion Beam Etching System![]() Product Code : vt-IBE Description Ion Beam Etching System Vacuum Techniques "Ion Beam Etching System" consist of RF Ion Beam source mounted on a high vacuum Chamber with electrical and Gas Feedthroughs fitted with auto matching network, and plasma bridge neutralizer. Modular power supply for RF ion beam . SS High Vacuum Chamber housing the RF ion beam source, water cooled target holder, Mass flow controller etc., Turbo molecular pump with control unit suitable for Corrosive gas application backed by a rotary pump to achieve vacuum in the range of 10-7 mbar. Vacuum measuring gauge with sensors for measuring from atmosphere to 10-7 mbar. Water cooled target holder with tilting facility and rotation. Mass flow controller with electronic display unit calibrated for Argon, oxygen and CF4. Manually operated throttle valve between chamber and pumping unit. Control console to house all the measuring / control unit. All components are mounted on a sturdy compact frame. Liquid Helium Cryostat![]() Product Code : vt-LHC Description The "Cryostat" is cylindrical in shape made out of SS 304L / SS 316 material and essentially consists of : Vacuum Jacket Top plate Assembly Liquid Nitrogen Vessel Liquid Helium Vessel Radiation shield Stand to mount the Cryostat vertically Liquid Nitrogen container is made out of cylindrical shells assemble as a double walled jacket. This is suspended form the top flange with fiber glass supports made out of G-10 material. Inside the Liquid Nitrogen container, Liquid Helium Vessel is assembled. The inlet and outlet pipes of both the containers are taken to the top flange using SS bellows. The bellows are utlilised both for flexibility to align mechanically and also to take care of the contraction and expansion during thermal cycles. The Liquid Nitrogen anchored radiation shield surrounds the liquid helium vessel. All the items are assembled inside a vacuum jacket which fits to the top flange. The cryostats are fabricated as per customer design and specifications and is leak tested before and after cold shocking. Oven For Degassing UHV Power Tubes![]() Product Code : vt-OD UHV Description Oven for Degassing UHV Power Tubes The "UHV Station for Processing POWER TUBES" essentially consists of : Double walled water cooled cylindrical chambers acting as a baking hood having top closed with dished end bottom flanged and sits on water cooled base plate. Water cooled base plate with number of UHV ports where the power tubes are mounted. No. of tubular heaters are provided to heat the hot zone to 600 Degree C and each chamber is provided with seperate heaters. 3 layers of cylindrical heat shields made out of 1mm SS material are provided separately for each chamber. Water cooled heater Feedthroughs for both the chambers Heater power supply ( Thyrister controlled) with programmable PID to control the temperature for heating and soaking cycle and for a max. temperature of 6000C. K type thermocouples are provided to measure temperature at the hot zones of baking the hearth. The additional thermocouples with digital indicators are provided for job temperature measurement. Bell jar and chamber is provided with a Roots and Rotary combination to evacuate them to 10-3 mbar. Pumping line is provided with Right angle Pneumatic valve. UHV port pumping can be provided with the Turbo Pump and all metal angle valve and ion pump with UHV Gate Valve to evacuate the UHV line to 10-9 mbar. Turbo pump can be backed by a small dry pump. Multi gauge controller with suitable gauge heads can be provided for measurement of UHV port and guard vacuum. UHV lines are provided with detachable band heaters to bake the pumping lines to 3000C. All metal electro pneumatic or mains operated vent valve are provided for venting UHV port and guard vacuum. Console with PLC . Thermovac Chamber![]() Product Code : VT-TC UHV Chambers![]() Product Code : vt-UHV C Description These are Custom Built Chambers used for Ultra High Vacuum Applications .The UHV chamber is made of SS AISI 304 material which consists of no. of ports, for various application made with conflat flange/ NEC flanges and covered with matching flanges. All welded components as well as the total chamber is leak tested by using Helium Mass Spectrometer leak Detector to individual leak rate better than 1x10-9 std cc/sec. The assembly will be evacuated to high vac before despatched . All components are machined strictly as per UHV international specifications. The chamber is buffed and polished to good finish. All welding are done by TIG argon arc welding internally and filler material is avoided as far as possible. The design of the chambers follows pressure vessel design as per ASME code Sec. VIII Div. I and the fabrication follows ASME code Sec. VIII. The chambers are fabricated by TIG Argon Arc welding following ASME Code Sec.IX. All welding joints are tested and radiograph as per ASME code and leak tested by Helium Mass Spectrometer leak detector better than 1x10-9 std cc/sec/ and finally buffed and polished to good finish as per good vacuum practice and to provide 0.1 micron Ra value finish for all the internal surface. It can be of anysize or shape or contours as per customer`s requirements. Vacuum End Chambers![]() Product Code : vt-EC Description "End Chamber" consists of 2 end chamber assembly which are fixed on either side of "Precision Casting Furnace". End chamber assembly consists of end plate, LN2 Bush, rail, fully openable dried end cover, flat plate with abround port and required no of ports and optical windows fixed with a feedthroughs with connectors for optical measurements for the precision casting furnace containing the electron beam. The dished end cover has locking ring and hydraulic drives and a hinge facility to move manually. Extension tubes with abround cross section with abround flange openings are provided. The extension tubes has ridges of specified sizes at regular intervals for mechanical strength. Flexible expansion bellow of abround shape with end flanges are used in between end chamber and extension tube. Pneumatically Operated Gate Valves are used on either side between bellow assembly and main Precision Casting Furnace chamber end doors. Baffle plates of specified size and shapes are used on either side of each extension tube. |
