Product Range
Chemicals
Chemicals has been the core area of operation for Vaigai since its
inception. The 6000 MT capacity complex is India's 2nd largest Potassium
chlorate manufacturing plant, which is also capable of producing potassium
per chlorate. Vaigai is a major supplier of Potassium chlorate to the
fireworks and safety match industries and has a 40% market share in India.
Vaigai ensures a smooth supply of our world-class products throughout India
and the world, including a host of satisfied customers in Indonesia, Kenya,
Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Edible Oils
Vaigai began its Oils division in 1990 with a solvent extraction plant to
manufacture rice bran oil and de-oiled bran. Today, it is one of the largest
oil extraction complexes in India, with two manufacturing plants having a
capacity of 100000 tons per annum. Known for their consistency, quality and
reliability, our products have found use in the edible oil industry, and the
pet care and animal nutrition industries.
- Rice Bran Oil - Vaigai seeks to lead the way in the
manufacture of crude rice bran oil for the manufacture edible rice bran
oil. Low fat cooking means healthy cooking with rice bran low fat
cooking oil. The healthy cooking oil with the best balance of High mono
fat, able to lower cholesterol and poly fat, which contains Essential
Fatty Acids (EFA) is Rice Bran low fat cooking oil.
- De Oiled Rice Bran - Vaigai's other product of the oil
division, is widely used in the manufacture of cattle feed, as fuel for
boilers, and used for manufacturing sodium silicate, silica gel,
insulation bricks etc (using fully burnt white ash of husk)

Textiles
Vaigai Finetex, Vaigai's Textile division, has been a niche supplier of
quality products ranging from yarns and fabrics to garments to an
international customer-base for more than 10 years. Over these years, vaigai
has positioned itself firmly in the niche pockets of the industry -
something that has translated into a strategic advantage of being a flexible
and high-end product and service provider in the textile industry.
