HDPE Pipes Our HDPE pipes are available to our clients
under the renowned brand name Lotus.
The pipes are offered in conformity with ISO
9001-2000, BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). It can also be made available
as per the specific requirements of our clients. It is presented in varied
dimensions including Ø 20mm to Ø 200mm and has pressure ratings of 2.5 to 10 Kgf/cm2. Our unique featured pipes
are widely used in areas of potable water supply, industrial use, gas
distribution and agricultural industry. Cited below are the
benefits of HDPE pipes:
- No
joints means no leakage
- Actually
gains strength in lower temperature and expands at higher temperatures for
avoiding breakings
- Designed
to bend to a radius of 25 times its diameter which means fewer 90 degree
bends overall
- Less
chance for water hammer, a reduction in leak and easier installation and
hence ideal for new construction
- Its
strength and flexibility permits the pipe to absorb vibration and stress
caused by soil movements. With its ability to be compressed or deformed
without permanent damage, pipe is not affected even with the destructive
force of earthquakes
- Performs
well in rocky conditions
- Can be
buried at a shallow depth
- Having
no joints to pull apart is a distinct advantage where ledge rock prohibits
excavation and very little cover is available
- Can
withstand long exposure to inclement weather conditions including excessive
sunlight and ultraviolet rays and hence, the pipe is excellent for bridge
crossings
- Withstand
full vacuum and hence the pipe does not collapse even under a full vacuum,
when the correct size is used for a required application allowing perfect
utilization as intake pumps stations
Installation: At both the ends of HDPE Pipe, GI nipple is fitted for
lowering the pump inside bore by using oil immersion method. The pipe is bolted
down for further safety. Using a flange to flange joint, one side of pipe is
fitted with submersible pump. Applications: In Agriculture:
- For
spraying pesticides in Gardens, Long distant delivery of water for
irrigation
- Suction
& delivery of water with pump sets for drip irrigation
- Lifting
water from bore wells using air compressor/jet pumps instead of GI pipes
- Lift
Irrigation Scheme
- For
Submersible Pumps s Column Pipes instead of GI Pipes
Industrial:
- Conveying
corrosive effluents of chemical & other process industries including paper,
dye-stuffs, paints, petrochemicals, rayon & fertilizers
- Protective
outer cover for telephone cable conduits & telephone duct pipes
- Conveying
treated radio-active waste
- Handling
edible oils, fruit juices pulps, milk & other food material
- Conveying
acids, alkalis and other corrosive chemicals
- Chilled
water circulation
- Conveying
of sewage, drainage (out side & underground)
- Air
conditioning & ducting
- Handling
of salt water
