Algahard-X is a very powerful admixture compound extracted from algae. They  are long chain carbohydrate bio-polymer and its salts are hydro-colloids (material that bind or absorb water). Algahard (x) is acid stable and heat resistant. Algahard (x) is free from chloride and sulfate free. It can be applied to any type of construction work.
 

Algahard (x) is versatile admixture used in cement construction as a Concrete hardener, Water Proof, Weather Proof, Crack Proof and corrosion resistant. 200 ml of Algahard (x) is recommended for 50 Kg of cement. Algahard (x) can be used for all types of cement. Algahard (x) prevents segregation of aggregates in the mix and improves the cement strength.
 

By using Concrete Hardener (Algahard-X) water can be reduced dramatically for the type of mix and usage. Around 10% - 20 % water is reduced and presence of cohesiveness in Algahard (X) increases the workability of the mix. Water plays important role in concrete structure. When minimum water is used in the mix cement strength increases and decreases in porosity.
 

On the application of Concrete Hardener (Algahard-X)  admixture, the natural accelerator increases the cement bonding by changing the cement into gel form, which decreases porosity. Thus gel formed cementious liquid gets hardened preventing formation of cracks and increases the durability of concrete. Presence of Algahard (x) in the concrete forms a coating over the surface of steel rods and prevents corrosion.
 

Algahard (x) admixture controls the rate of hydration there by eliminates the surface cracks, on vertical application where proper water curing cannot be done. On application of Algahard (x) in plastering workability is increased thereby reducing the time of coverage area by mason. The presence of Algahard (x) in the mix adheres to the surface more easily than ordinary mix there by reducing time and mix wastage.
