Shell and Tube type Heat Exchanger is used for transferring heat from one fluid to another. It contains number of tubes enclosed in a close fitting cylindrical shell. One fluid flows inside and the other flows outside the tubes. These are very useful when a process requires large quantities of fluid to be heated or cooled as they provide large amount of heat transfer area and also provide high degree of heat transfer efficiency.

Stiffener Ring is provided on Inner Shell of Jacket in between Inner Shell and Outer Jacket to intensify main Vessel and to provide uniform circulation and minimize stagnation of heating or cooling medium.
The jacket can also be fabricated with multiple loops and zones, such as two or three zones on a straight part of the vessel and a zone on the bottom half.
Jacket also provides resistance to Thermal Shock.
Equipments are tested hydraulically as per design pressure.

Ribbon blender is basically manufactured for uniform, homogeneous, and quick mixing of powders and semi-wet materials of different densities. Helical ribbon agitator design is the real key for the success of this Blender.
How the Ribbon Blender Works - A Ribbon Blender consists of a horizontal trough with a central shaft and a helical ribbon agitator. Mixing results from the turbulence induced by counteracting Ribbons. There are two sets of Counter acting Ribbons - Outer Ribbon, Inner Ribbon. Both ribbons mounted on the same shaft. Ribbons has close Trough clearance which provides a region of high shear force near the wall thereby achieving both bulk blending and dispersive mixing.
Ribbons are design to obtain complete and thorough mixing. It is designed in such a way that along with vertical movement, material to be mixed will have to and fro motion. Diametric size of the ribbon keeps some proportion with the volume of the vessel so that the power required to drive the machine will be less. The ribbon causes all the material to circulate using only 5% of the power needed by the turbine.
When the economy of the mixing equipments are taken into consideration the ribbon blender is the best suited machine for better result in the field of chemical, pharmaceutical and allied industries.
The machine is manufactured in the combination of Mild Steel and Stainless Steel. The product to machine contact parts will be in Stainless Steel and remaining is in Mild Steel to reduce the total cost of the machine. cGMP models are also available.
Vats & Vessels. Sigma Mixer is used for mixing highly viscous materials in various industries viz. Adhesives, Chemical, Confectionery, Carbon Black, Ceramic, Dyes & Pigments, Food Products, Grease, Lead Storage Battery, Paint, Putties, Plastic, Pharmaceuticals, Printing ink, Resin, Rubber, Soap & Detergent etc.
Sigma Mixer consists of two counter-rotating blades in two semi-cylinders, the intersection of which forms a saddle piece and meeting tangentially just above the saddle the blades are driven by gearing at both ends. The mixing action is a combination of bulk movement, smearing, stretching, folding against the blades and sidewalls. The blades, which are ground and polished, successively sweep all portion of the trough surface during each revolution.
Type of Blades -
Sigma Blade - Sigma blade is capable of starting and operating with either liquids or solids or a combination of both. Sigma Blades give shredding or wiping effect. It has good mixing action, readily discharges materials which do not stick to the blades and is relatively easy to clean when sticky materials are being processed.
Double Naben - In specific applications a lump bridge across the two sigma blades is formed. To avoid the formation Naben blades are used.

DISCHARGE -
Tilting tank. For small machines Tilting is mechanical type (hand-lever or hand-wheel). For bigger machines Tilting is electromechanical or hydraulic.
Extrusion screw. The extrusion-discharge screw is situated at the centre of the bottom part of the saddle under two sigma blades. During the mixing the screw pushes the material towards the sigma blades ensuring uniform mixing. At discharge time, the direction of rotation of the screw is reversed and the mixed material is extruded out of the machine. Separate drive is provided for this Screw.

Vats & Vessels V-Cone mixers are useful in Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Chemical, Food and other industries. Products which are friable, shear sensitive, voluminous can be easily blended by V-cone mixer. The large handling capacity coupled with low power requirement makes it one of most effective and efficient Blender. It occupies less floor-space and it is ideally suited to multi-storey facilities.
Working principle A combination of three mixing effects is produced - The mixing screw rotates about its own axis and it also rotates around the periphery of the cone continuously. First the screw lifts the product from the bottom to the top of the vessel and then the movement of the arm makes the product to move across the cone’s periphery. Combining these effects with gravity produces excellent mixing effect.
