Product Description: 

FUELAID-S is a dry powder compound formulated for safe removal of soot and firescale deposits from boilers and diesel engine exhaust systems.

Product Properties:

If firescale is allowed to form on heat exchangers, the loss of efficiency can be directly related to extra fuel consumption. A 1mm deposit is approximately equivalent to a 10% efficiency loss, a 3mm.deposit can reduce efficiency by up to 50%. The normal ignition temperature of soot is around 600oC. This means that it is burned only in the hottest parts of the boiler or diesel exhaust systems. Due to the catalytic action of Fuelaid-s, the ignition temperature of the soot/firescale is reduced to approximately 300oC. The carbon deposits are thus ignited, leaving an easily removed ash. The use of FUELAID-S not only provides greater fuel efficiency, but also prevents acid formation in areas where severs corrosion could result in expensive damage. i.e. Heat exchangers, superheaters, economizers, exhaust paths / stacks. FUELAID-S is a wide spectrum additive intended for continuous use. It maintains equipments in peak condition, ensures high fuel efficiency and reduces costs.

Product Description: 

Dieselaid is a multi-functional fuel treatment additive containing combustion catalysts and ash modifiers. It is intended for use in diesel engines and boilers consuming large quantities of residual fuels.

Product Properties: 

Regular addition of DIESELAID in fuel oil formation of carbon is reduced during combustion and lower the ignition temperature of heavy asphaltenic particles. Combustion time is consequently increased, leading to a reduction of tarry deposits and carbonaceous firescale.
Ash modifiers in DIESEL-AID combine with fuel combustion ash, raise the sinter and melting points of the ash above exhaust temperatures. High temperature molten ash corrosion is thus minimized, reducing maintenance and increasing service life of components. The majority of ash formed is ejected with the exhaust gases in a finer and more stable state and any ash remaining in the exhaust system is easily removed by light brushing.

The conversion of fuel sulphur to potentially corrosive Sulphur trioxide reacts with condensed steams in the exhaust and other cooler zones to form sulphuric acid which is highly corrosive,regular addition of DIESELAID control corrosive effects of SO3.
Using DIESEL-AID the formation of sulphur trioxide is inhibited, reducing the amount of sulphuric acid present in the exhaust system.
DIESEL-AID is a wide spectrum additive intended for continous use. It maintains equipments in peak condition, ensures high fuel efficiency and reduces maintenance costs.

Fuel Oil Additive

Fuel Oil Additive
A fuel oil additive save costly equiptments from corrosion and save fuel oil.A residual fuel oil which remains as fluid residue after the distillate fuels are removed in distillation column in petroleum refineries. This is used as a cheap fuel for firing boilers etc. Residual fuels are high in sludge forming unsaturated such as Sulphur, ash and moisture contents water. Sludging in storage, corrosion and slagging in boilers and gas turbines are the problems usually met with, when such fuels are used. Sludge may clog suction lines strainers and fuel nozzles, interfere with heat transfer in heaters and adversely effects combustion. These and many more problems exists for the residual fuel users.

In certain boilers where steam is generated at high pressure and at high temperatures, there may be corrosion on super-heater tube areas and fouling of super-heater tubes due to the presence of vanadium and other metallic components in the fuel ash. High sulphur contents in the fuel oil are also undesirable in areas where atmospheric pollution is a problem. Also, high sulphur fuel may contribute to corrosion in economizers and air preheaters of large boiler installations.

Corrosion maybe severe unless corrosion resistant additives like Furnative or other corrective measures are used. The dew point of the stack gases increases with increased sulphur contents of the fuel burnt. During combustion the sulphur in fuel oil is converted to sulphur trioxide (SO3) which is quite corrosive in the presence of moisture. A portion of sulphur is converted to sulphur trioxide (SO3) forming of very corrosive dilute sulphuric acid when cooled below the dew point.

Fuel oils contain some % of Vanadium and Sodium causes corrosion and fouling of super-heater parts in boilers. Similarly excessive corrosion and fouling is encountered on gas turbine blades where operating temperatures are high. Corrosion and fouling can be largely eliminated both in boilers and gas turbines by the use of additives in fuel oil like Furnative.

Users of residual fuel oil also complain of excessive soot deposits in boilers and emission of hard carbon particles from boiler's stacks. Soot tend to deposit on cool surfaces of the boilers and this is usually present when the boiler is first fired. If soot continues to deposit after the boiler reaches full operating temperature, it is usually an indication that air fuel ratio need adjustment. Current residual oils are blends of heavy asphaltic residual stocks and light distillate fuel oils.Various types of instability may be exhibited by residual fuel oils. (1) Separation of asphaltic or carbonous matter,sludge dirt and water during storage at normal temperatures. (2) Separation of black waxy materials during storage at low temperatures. (3) Increase in viscosity during storage at normal temperatures. (4) Incompatibility of separation of insoluble matter on mixing of fuel oil from different sources. (5) Excess of water in fuel results corrosion, choking & atomization distortion.
