Bio Clean- RO

Bio Clean- RO

Normally for biological control in R.O. Membrane sodium hypochlorite is recommended.  However, chlorine has detrimental effect on R.O Membrane, hence for de-chlorination smbs dosage are suggested.   bio clean ro is a sage non-oxidizing newly developed environment friendly bio control molecule which safely controls bacteria, fungi, slime which normally occurs in R.O Membrane. It is more powerful and safe then chlorine base compounds.

RO- Cleaner

Production Decription

Rocleaner – I is a unique blend of penetrates, surfactants and polymeric dispersants to help clean up befouled reverse osmosis system to maximize the efficiency.

Benefits:

Keep system clean:
RO-CLEANER-I cleans ro membrane fouled by organic accumulations and also colloidal matters and silt.   RO-CLEANER-I penetrate and disperse organic deposits and improve the performance.

Enhances Micro-biocide Effectiveness:
RO-CLEANER-I improves the performance of biocides by helping them penetrate in masses.   this result in a quicker and more complex kill as well as reduced biological growth.

Disperses Foulants:
RO-CLEANER-I disperses deposits of silt, clay, iron oxide, organics and dead biological matter.   thus it improves system cleanliness resulting in increased permeate flow, reduced pressure drop across the tube and minimizes befouling.

Recommended Dosages And Applications:
RO-CLEANER-I can be used for online as well as offline cleaning.
RO-CLEANER-I can be dosed on line prior to cartridge filter.
For offline cleaning rocleaner – i dilution ratio is in the range of 0. 5-3 % in proportion to the total volume of the cleaning system.

Handling, Storage And Percaution:

Product Decription:

RO-Cleaner-II is specially formulated blend of cleaners for the effective removal of carbonate, metal oxide and sulfate scales of barium, strontium and calcium in reverse osmosis systems.

Benefits:

  1. For reverse osmosis system operation on feed water containing barium, strontium apart from commonly encountered hardness salts, there is always potential for scales formation of calcium, barium and strontium. Barium sulfate scales once formed are extremely difficult to remove RO-Cleaner-II effectively removes these barium sulfate scales and also sulfate scales of strontium and calcium.

  2. Liquid cleaner which allows shorter mixing time.

  3. Low foam formulation.

  4. Cost effective program for carbonate / sulfate scales removal.

  5. No adverse effects with repeated use of solution.

Recommended Dosages And Applications:

  1. Prepare the stock solution of RO-Cleaner-II using Dm water of permeate water only.

  2. Use dilution ratio of 0. 5 to 3 % proportion of the total volume of cleaning system.

  3. Flush the membranes using permeate water or Dm water.

  4. Circulate at the flow rate recommended by the membrane manufacture depending upon the membrane size. Pass already prepared cleaning solution through membranes; circulate the cleaning solution of 1-2 hrs. If the solution become turbid.   prepare fresh solution and re-circulate through membrane.

  5. Soak the membrane for 30-60 minutes.

  6. In multi pass system, best results can be achieved if each pass is cleaned individually.

  7. Drain out the cleaning solution and flush the system with dm or permeate water.

  8. Restart the plant.

ROAS-C (Water Treatment Chemicals)

ROAS-C (Water Treatment Chemicals)

Introduction:

ROAS-C a multi functional Antiscalent and Antifoulant designed for effective scale and fouling control in reverse osmosis membrane and multi-stage flash desalination system.

Application:
ROAS-C at the dosage level of 3-10ppm is effective against range of inorganic scale forming species such as Calcium Carbonate, Calcium Sulphate, Barium Sulphate, Strontium Sulphate, Calcium Fluoride, etc. ROAS-C is synergistic composition of synthetic polymers with derivatives of carboxylic group of compounds. This product is having excellent there hold inhibition, sequestration, hydrolytic stability, Antiscalent properties, anti fouling properties; hence it finds excellent application in reverse osmosis system and multi stage evaporation application. At very low conc., this product inhibits water-born scales of Calcium carbonate, Calcium Sulphate, Strontium Sulphate and Barium Sulphate.

Advantages Over SHMP

  1. ROAS-C disperses suspended solids like clay, dirt, silt etc. Since SHMP does not have dispersion properties, filter and membrane will remain clean with ROAS-C.

  2. ROAS-C distorts the structure of scale forming salts and inhibits water born scale in the pH range of 6-10 at very low concentration. It does not form sludge; hence fouling will be minimized. SHMP has tendency to torn Calcium phosphate sludge.

  3. Inorganic phosphate is a nutrient for bacteria; hence biological slime formation will be high with SHMP base treatment. ROAS- C does not help to increase biological growth. (Does not contain Phosphate).

  4. SHMP decomposes into orthophosphate at higher temperature, since ROAS-C can resist high temperature and pressure, i.e. no decomposition.

  5. ROAS-C controls iron fouling, while SHMP does not control iron fouling.

  6. ROAS-C is a liquid product hence stock solution can be prepared easily while SHMP is a solid product, hence solution preparation requires stirring and occasionally it forms polymeric lumps in tank as well as in membrane too.

  7. ROAS-C at dosage concentration is non toxic to fishes and its biochemical oxygen demand is almost zero.

  8. For higher performance in scale inhibition, ROAS-C is more economical in comparison with other anti scalents.


 
 

SIAC-RO

Product Decription:

SIAC-RO is multifunctional antiscalent for reverse osmosis systems. Highly effective in preventing silica scale formation on membrane surfaces. Besides its excellent silica scale inhibition properties siac – ro is effectively controlling calcium carbonate, strontium sulphate, barium sulphate, iron oxide and calcium fluoride scale information. All ingredients in siac- ro are certifies to ansi / nsf standard 60 for use in reverse osmosis systems producing potable water.

Recommended Dosages And Applications:

  • The dosage level required is dependent on the quality of the feed water and the saturation indices of the various scales forming species present in the concentrated brine.   normally dosing is between 3-5ppm.

  • SIAC-RO is miscible with water in all proportions. It may be applied as the neat product or as a solution in permeate water. A minimum dosing solution strength of 10% w/w is recommended SIAC-RO should be dosed continuously and proportionately to the feed water flow to maintain the recommended dosage level.

  • SIAC-RO is is an aqueous solution of organic acids and polymers and is corrosive in its concentrated form. Corrosion resistant dosing equipment must therefore be used. Examples of suitable materials are pvc. Glass reinforced plastic or hdpe.

  • Recommended injection point is into the feed water downstream of any filtration equipment and cartridge filters.

  • Recommended operations limits of the most relevant brine water parameters :

  • Silica : up to 300 ppm
