Ved Sasomeccanica (India) Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 1987 to serve various industries. In the year 1993 company established its presence with Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi,a locomotive production unit of Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India.

The promoter of the company is a mechanical engineer with post - graduate specialization is Design from premiere institutes of India with vast experience in design and development of machineries. Various items requiring Accurate Fabrication and Precision Machining using innovative tooling and fixtures were developed and supplied to DLW, Varanasi such as Engine Main Base; Oil Pan; Turbo supports; Fabricated Bogie Frame. Also special purpose large fixture with design support such as welding Positioners for Cylinderblock / Crankcase for locomotive were successfully supplied.
