Institute of Village Enterprise Development for Handicrafts Artisans alias VEDHA, a NGO (established in 1995), through incessant research and development, has designed very many bamboo furniture solutions and also technologies facilitating transformation of bamboo into "Eco-friendly, Strong, Durable, Green, Healthy, Light weight, Long-lasting, Sleek, Trendy & Utilitarian" etc. furniture products with quality par excellence.

And, has come up with the only "demonstrative enterprise in mechanized processing of bamboo furniture & allied products" in India (Bhandara - Maharashtra) that has been established under the National Mission on Bamboo Applications (NMBA) - an initiative of the Technology Information, Forecasting, and Assessment Council (TIFAC), Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi for promotion of bamboo sector for sustainable development and empowerment of the rural.
