Various filter elements, suitable for standard or specific requirements of different industries are manufactured by us using our highest quality precision wire cloth. Cut circles or multilayer filters fitted with aluminum or stainless steel frame are available in round, oblong, rectangular or kidney shape or in any other required form.

ULTRASONICALLY purified DEAD flat FILTERS

Our filters are used in the spinning process of high viscosity melts eg. Polyamide, Polypropylene, Acrylic, ABS, LDPE and Polyester. The filters affect firstly a homogenization of the melt and secondly a filtering-off of foreign bodies or hard particles, some of Microscopic fineness, which can lead to al blocking of the jets or to faulty threads.

The filters generally consist of wire-mesh layers of varying filter fineness. The mesh with the lowest transmissibility, for instance 25 microns, determines the filtering effect. Other mesh layers with larger apertures are incorporated in the complete filter. The sturdy support cloth gives the filter an optimum strength. The aperture gradings and the order of the cloth layers are decisive for the homogenization of the melts and are therefore of great importance. Spin pump pressure up to 60 atu (850 psi) and temperature up to 270°C (520°F) are no exception.

Multilayer filters are generally fitted with a frame made of aluminum or stainless steel. This frame holds the layers together, guarantees the correct order of the layers and at the same time acts as a gasket or seal.

Our filters can be round , oblong or rectangular or kidney shaped or cylinder or have any other required form.

Fused Wire mesh (Ply Mesh)  

This type filter cloth developed to withstand high mechanical strain and excellent filter performance. Its main features are a smooth top surface, guaranteeing an easy removal of filter cake and an open lower surface with excellent dewatering performance. In general 5-Shaft cloth has a rectangular mesh opening, effecting a cross current. Approved on disc & drum filters, in coal mining and as dewatering sieve.

(Hollander Weave)

Type of weave is similar to plain woven fabric. However, the thicker warp wires are located at a wider distance from each other unlike the thinner weft wires which lie closer to each other. Mainly used for filters, suction apparatus, centrifuges and similar systems of separation.

Each wrap wire passes over and under the successive rows of weft wires and vice versa ensuring the maximum of weaving stability and most accurate mesh openings between 2.8 mm and 0.048 mm. Tolerances as well to ISO 9044.

The same weave as Dutch except the warp & weft wires are reversed, i.e. the warp wires have a smaller diameter than the weft wires. The larger weft wires are woven closer together than would usually be seen in a Dutch weave.

 · Test Sieves are made with joint less Brass or          Stainless Steel frames.

 · Test  Sieves in diameter size 18” made with            jointed frame.

 · Test Sieves are made to nest one above the          other and have a snug sliding fil. Lids or covers      and receivers are also supplied.

 · Test Sieves are available with Stainless Steel          Woven Wire Cloth of Mesh aperture ranging from    8 to 2700 microns absolute.

 · The Woven Wire Cloth used in Test Sieves is          manufactured in-house under stringent quality        checks and conforming to International quality        standards.

 · Test Sieves are available in accordance with            ASTM, BSS or ISO standards.

(Cordury cloth) a combination of the dutch weave and the twill weave, which enables twice as much weft wires to be placed into the same area than with a plain dutch weave, by which a light-proof mesh vertical to the surface is obtained. A very robust weave with a very fine passage down to 2 microns nominal, wherefore it is above all used for finest filtration even under highest pressure.

The thread position changes at every second, third or fourth crossing of wire giving a reduced stability. This type of weave allows a thicker wire and is consequently well suitable for heavy meshes. Available upto approx 0.025 mm aperture.
