Candle Type Magnetic Separators

We manufacture candle type magnetic conveyors suitable to handle fine ferrous dirt from large coolers. Latest technique is used to manufacture and fabricate these type of magnetic separators. An infinite length of belt carrying magnetic candles are dipped in the dirty coolant tank. It is dipped to an extent such that the coolant enters the core of the tank. The coolant is allowed to flow slowly over the magnetic candles leaving the ferrous dirt on its surface. The belt is then programmed to pull out the dirt laden candles and rotate them at the top to remove the dirt which is then transported to a bin outside the tank. This type of Separator is extremely useful in rolling, grinding, and wire drawing machines.

Eco Type Paper Band Filter:

Our eco type paper band filter works on a different mechanism and are suitable for fine coolant filtration for small individual machines. Its working mechanism enables it to separate dirt from fluid. The fluid with dirt is first exposed to the magnetic separator after which the fluid drops are filtered through the paper band filter trough. A float-actuated clutch derives motion from a common drive and the directs the dirty filter paper. Highly efficient for fine coolant filtration for honing, grinding, lapping, gun drilling etc., for small individual machines

  • Very compact. Magnetic separator & band filter combination is accommodated within 150mm above the tank top, reducing the floor area for same volume of tank.

Compact Band Filter

Our compact band filter is designed for coolant filtration of fluids. The filter paper is held between a pair of sealing discs and a permeable support belt. The fluid when passed through the filter paper leaves the dirt on it, which receives finer filtration. Its mounted on the tank and lets the filtered fluid in the tank. When the filter paper chokes, the fluid level above the filter paper rises. This activates a level switch, starting a drive coupled with the rollers, supporting the permeable support belt. This ejects part of the dirty filter paper & dirt to the bin, further pulling in clean filter paper from the roll. This is highly beneficial in the filtration of coolants in grinding, honing, gun drilling & component washing applications.

Scraper Type Conveyor

We manufacture Scraper Conveyor which is the simplest device designed to handle bulk quantity of magnetic coarse dirt. It can be designed according to the customers requirements into several forms to be inserted in a machine tunnel or can be placed at the bottom of the dirty fluid tank. It can be used in combination with a variety of filtration and separation devices. Wipers are attached to a moving chain placed in trough (tank) holding dirty cutting fluid. Sedimented course dirt is moved along with the wipers in a bin placed at one end of trough.

We have a specially designed Up- Flow Filter to be used in individual machines or can be used as a centralized plant. It has a mesh drum, fluid with chips drops in its cavity. It moves in the drum trough fine mesh, by gravity, leaving the chips on the mesh. A scraper conveyor, wrapping the mesh drum & scraping the outside cavity, carries the chips to a bin. On the way the fluid drips back to the tank. The conveyor movement also rotates the mesh drum. This can be efficiently used in Aluminum chip handling, washing fluid filtration, etc.

Salient Features:
  • Seal is away from sedimented chips. No possibilities of seal getting damaged by chips.
  • Seal is of lesser diameter than conventional filter drum. It is possible to machine this seal & maintain correct dimensions.

Hydraulic Vacuum Filters

Our company manufactures hydraulic vacuum filters with perforated top. It is placed at the bottom of the tank, dirty coolant is let into this tank. The pump sucks the coolant through the filter paper laid on top of vacuum chamber, leaving dirt on the surface of the filter paper. The suction pump generates vacuum increasing the thickness of the dirt layer & hence achieves finer filtration. After the preset level of vacuum is reached, the working is broken temporarily by opening actuated by-pass valve. Part of dirt-laden filter paper is pulled out to be replaced by fresh filter paper. Dirt is dumped in a bin while dirty filter paper is wound on a shaft. Our well designed hydraulic Vacuum filter are highly suitable for fine filtration of coolants used in grinding, honing, gun drilling & component washing applications.

Cartridge Type Pressure Filters

We offer the cartridge type pressure filter which is designed to use the pressure mechanism for filtration. The dirty fluid is pushed in the filter housing under pressure. Filter elements of correct filtration rating are placed in the housing depending on the flow & other requirements. The ends of the filter elements are sealed so that the fluid is made to pass through the filter medium only, to leave the dirt on the filter medium. Generally the inlet and outlet are designed in one line. However the position of the inlet can be altered as per the requirement. It can be efficiently used for a variety of applications depending on the requirement, that is filtration of hydraulic oils, lub oils, fuels, cutting fluids, coolants, washing fluids etc.
We also provide a variety of filter elements depending on the fluid to be handled like oils, water based fluids, chemically active fluids washing fluids etc.) dirt to be filtered (from 1 micron till very course mesh type strainers) & type of filtration (disposable elements & re-usable elements). The housing can also be sized depending on the application and the rated flow requirement. Housings of 1, 2, 4, 8, 14 & 24 elements are available. Housings are designed for 10 bar pressure. These can be designed for higher pressures. The housings of verity of material of construction are supplied depending on the requirement.

We also manufacture Flat bed Multi Plate Pressure Filters for high tech filtration. Dirty fluid is fed under pressure into the inlet manifold. It is distributed equally in 4 different plates. The filter papers are clamped & supported between plates separate the dirt & form a layer (cake). This brings in affect finer filtration. The same filter with pre-coating can add further to fineness of filtration. This is highly suitable as centralized fine coolant filtration for finish grinding, filtration of high viscosity grinding fluids & filtration of honing oil with pre-coat arrangement.

Manually Cleanable Pre-Coat Pressure Filters

We manufacture pre-coat Pressure Filters which are designed for easy manual cleaning.
Dirty fluid with “filter aid powder” is fed under pressure at the filter inlet so that it forms a uniform layer on the filter discs in the filter shell. During this process the filter outlet fluid is diverted back to dirty fluid tank. This operation is called “pre-coating”. It is performed every-time after the filter is cleaned & put to use again. After pre-coating the filter used to clean the fluid tank. Through separate pump the clean fluid is supplied to the machine. To increase the time of service for the filter a small amount of filter aid powder is fed periodically at the dirty pump suction point. This operation is called “body feeding”. Excellent filtration clarity is generated for high finishing. Once the filter is choked, (usually at pressure drop of 1.5 bar.) the filter housing is drained, purged with compressed air & then opened. The discs are dismantled & cleaned manually using compressed air. Our pre-coat pressure filter give a Super-finishing, finish grinding, honing etc. It can commonly be used for individual machines.

Our company manufacture belt type oil skimmers to filter out the un-emulsified oil from the coolant tank. To facilitate its working mechanism an endless belt is dipped in coolant tank such that the oil collected on the top . Coolant flows slowly over the belt leaving the oil on the belt which is continuously rotating to take out oil. The coolant carried over is again transported back to the coolant tank.

Magnetic Screw Conveyor

We have a magnetic screw conveyor, which is a magnetic assembly rotating inside a non-magnetic hollow screw. The magnetic chips are collected on the outer surface of the screw and rotate with the rotation of magnetic assembly. Helix shape of the stationary screw, moves the chips towards bin. It is highly suitable in handling broken magnetic chips. The magnetic screw conveyor can be conveniently used on Milling, Broaching, Hobbing, Gun-drilling, Drilling etc.
