Sericin cream can be prepared to treat open wounds. Rat Studies showed that wounds treated with 8% sericin cream were healed faster than the control groups
2) Environment-friendly biodegradable polymers can be produced by blending sericin with other resins
3) Sericin can be crosslinked or blended with other copolymers to prepare membranes for use in separation processes.
