Ltd established in the year 1986 and headed by the well known educationalist and Ex-Scientist from Govt.of India, with the vast experience gained in Research & Development. This organisation was started with a prime motto to “Design and Develop the Hardware and Software products” to keep in tune with the developing technology in the field of electronics and also to offer good sales support with effective service backup and Technical support. The Company has its own factory with a built in area of about 20,000 square feet at Chennai. The company has its own R&D wing with 40 qualified engineers. The R&D center is recognized by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India. By increasing its operations multifold the company could provide employment to more people and it has now a work force of about 400 people working in different departments. To start with, the company was engaged in the manufacture of Microprocessor Trainer Kits and Interface Boards. By putting more R&D efforts the company has expanded its activities in other area also like Microcontroller Trainer, Process Control Instrumentation, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics, Data Acquisition Systems, Personal Computer Trainer Systems for Computer Hardware Lab etc. Now our annual turnover is around 20 Crores. The Company has established its sales and service support centres in major cities in India as follows: Apart from its Head Office operation in Chennai. About the OwnerMr. R.Vijayarajeswaran, Chairman of the Engineering College done is his M.E., from Government College of Engineering, Guindy. He started is career as Scientist at CEERI, Govt of India’s Research Laboratory, Chennai. As scientist he had played active role in many projects which are multi disciplined. He has 30 years of rich experience in Evolving New Concepts, Design, Develop, Manufacture, Marketing, Finance Control and Administering of an Electronics related companies like M/S Pragathi Computer, Pondichery and M/S Vi Microsystems Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.
All along his career, he is involved with students of Engineering colleges / Polytechnics in training the students, guiding them in their final year projects , setting up of laboratories for the colleges.
With rich R &D Background as Scientist at CEERI and Pragathi Computers he has started a manufacturing industry namely “Vi Microsystems Pvt. Ltd., In Vi Microsystems he is responsible in Evolving new concepts, Design, Develop and manufacture of various Laboratory training equipments used in technical institutions across the country covering 30 Lab of multi discipline.
Vi Microsystems Pvt. Ltd., has its own R&D wing with 40 qualified engineers. The R&D center is recognized by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India Since 1988.
He has Co-authored the book “A Practical approach in DSP, Published by “New Age Publication” and many of his papers are published in the National & international Journals and presented many papers in National & International Conference conducted by IEEE.
