About Us

In the context of the need for increasing marketability and help in preserving, promoting, delivering etc. of consumer and industrial products, packaging had assumed great significance. In the past few years, while production technology had witnessed a remarkable advance in India, the same could not be said true of packaging. Changes in the technology of transportation and distribution system, market expansion, environmental considerations and more discerning attitude of consumers demanded the packaging standards to be radically improved. It was with this end in view that the foundation of VIBGYOR INTERNATIONAL was laid with the intention of making a sincere attempt to devise and provide various industries functional, attractive and cost effective packaging; the reason being that it shall offer scope for improved presentation besides ensuring better distribution and making goods available in original condition to the consumers.

Right from its inception in the year 1977 the main objectives of VIBGYOR have been:

• To stimulate among industries consciousness of good packaging, which invariably also plays the role of a marketing tool by attracting customers attention.
• To undertake the study, research and development in packaging and package design for various industries
• To provide consultancy services on packaging problems.
• To maintain close liaison with Packaging Institutes of different countries and Trade bodies etc. to facilitate the compilation of time to time advancement in the packaging industry and to make use of such innovations with respect to Indian requirements.
