Bio Nematicide "Root Gold" or bio nematicide is a nematicide derived from plant materials for the use in controlling pathogenic nematodes in turf, horticultural and agricultural applications. Root Gold has the correct balance of naturally occurring aldehyde, ketones and Linolenic Acids which when applied correctly can reduce damaging nematode populations.
Root Gold or bio nematicide as a minimal risk organic nematode deterrent has no application limitations and/or restrictions. It is a novel granular Nematode deterrent of organic origin used for the control of soil borne pests including nematodes. It is recommended for soil application. The mode of action is both systemic and contact type.
It is 100% organic nematode control product (nematicide) to be useful for all crops including commercial crops, horticulture, vegetables and floriculture markets. It is widely used by polyhouse and greenhouse owners. Its unique ability to control harmful parasitic nematodes while not harming the environment may show to be a great alternative to common chemical nematicides.
COMPOSITION:
The active ingredients include a careful blend of Bioflavonoid (sophorin) Active bitter (Loliolide) and bio available Terpinoides. They are coated or adsorbed on to a selective carrier material of agricultural origin so that persistency and stability of the active compound are enhanced in this medium.
NEMATODES CONTROLLED BY Root Gold:
Common nematodes are controlled by Root Gold: M. javanica (root knot nematode found in vegetable crops like okra, chili, French bean, tomato, black gram, green gram, egg plant ,etc), Meliodogne arenaria, Meliodogne meloidogyne, Haplolaimus indicus, Helicotylenchus erythrina, Pratylenchus sp., Incognita, R.Brassica, Rotylenchus Reniformis (found on okra, French bean and garden bean), Rodopholus similis (banana), Trylenchor hynchus, and various other species etc,
