Higher Transformer Availability : Available for a longer duration than conventional transformers. Internal breaker (Type CLR) is tripped by a standard Bi-Metallic thermal trip element, which integrates oil temperature and secondary current flow, allowing the transformer to continue to operate even under overload conditions, until the oil temperature makes coil damage imminent. Improvised CQR Type breakers can also be provided which are furnished with instantaneous magnetic trip element in addition to the Bi-Metallic thermal trip element.
More Reliable Service : CSP Transformers efficiently and effectively disconnect the load from the transformer under overload conditions. Moreover CSP components help in identifying locations where improvements in load management may be necessary.

Vijai’s Corrugated Tank Distribution Transformers are compact in size and elegant in appearance. These transformers are manufactured by using the highest quality materials, employing the most modern and reliable manufacturing practices.

Advantages :
Compact in size : Transformers with corrugated walls are smaller than transformers with radiators.
Improved heat dissipation : the role of fins is to increase the surface of the tank, which is in contact with the cooling air. Due to the temperature rise of the windings under load, the oil temperature also rises. The hot oil rises, meets the top cover and goes down into the fins where it is cooled by the air rising up between the fins. Required heat dissipation can be achieved by varying no. of corrugations and the depths height of corrugations Elegant appearance.
Due to vertical oil channel greater stability is achieved.
The fins have sufficient degree of elasticity to absorb the expansion in volume of the liquid, due to the heating of cooling medium, at the same time providing a large dissipating surface to cool the same cooling medium.
No blockage of oil flow into the fins : Blockage of oil is possible in pressed steel type radiators due to possible closing of header pipe connection on the tank wall, unlike Corrugated tanks.
