Quality Assurance

We have with us a quality checking unit, which adopt stringent measures at each and every stage of design & production of our products. All our panels are made according to the design approved by Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Bhopal.

Further, our panels are tested and certified by Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) Bhopal for the following physical accuracy:

• Verification of temperature rise limit as per CI.8.2.1of IS : 8623 (Part-l), 1993
• Verification of the short circuit withstand strength as per Cl.8.2.3 of IS : 8623 (Part-II), 1993, 50 kArms for 1.0 second with initial peak of 105 kA and 30 kArms for 1.0 second with peak of 63 kA on nearest phase
• Verification of the short circuit withstand strength as per C1.8.2.3 of IS : 8623 (Part-I), 1993 and 50 kArms for 1.0 second kA
• Degree of protection IP-54 as per IS : 13947 (Part-1), 1993
• Degree of protection IP-55 as per IS : 13947 (Part-I), 1993

Apart from this, we possess some equipment to test our products, which include:

• HV tester 5 KV (Solidyn)
• Megger tester (Chopra & Company)
• Load tester, 2000A (K. Snap)
• Powder coating thickness measuring guage (Yuyutsu)

Our well equipped manufacturing facilities assist us in fabricating our range of power distribution panels and electrical switchgear. The production process starts from the procurement of the sheets. Then the procured sheets are sheared, knocked, punched and bend as per the dimension requirement. After this, the sheet pieces are welded to form the panel body. Then the welded body is grind with stone grinder and center to smooth the edges, which are formed during the welding process.

When the fabrication process is over, then our panels undergo chemical treatment to ensure durability and provide smooth finish to the range. This chemical treatment is conducted with the help of seven tank process to make the panel rust free. The panel is immersed in the first tank in organic solution for 50 minutes to make the surface free from grease and oil. Then the panel is rinsed with water in the next tank.

In the third tank, the panel is immersed in phosphoric acid solution for 15 minutes. Our panels are also rinsed in the fourth tank and immersed in the fifth tank in solution of zinc, nickel and calcium for fifteen minutes. Finally, the panel is immersed in the seventh tank in solution of chromic acid for five minutes. All these stages helps to develop a protective layer on the panel body to prevent it from dust and oxidation till it is not powder coated. In our products, we provide powder coating of minimum 75 microns thickness.

Furthermore, in our system, we have incorporated rated voltage 415/440 V, three phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz and insulation voltage 2500 V for 60 seconds.

In addition to this, we also incorporate bus bar, which are electrolytic grade aluminum and copper bus bar insulated with colored heat shrinkable PVC sleeves duly supported on SMC and DMC molded supports with anti tracking arrangement.
