(M.Sc., Dipl. M. Inst. of Pkg. (London)) and was originally known as
Visu Packaging. Initially it was a proprietary concern of Mr. Doss who
is qualified from abroad and had worked in institutes and industries for
well over 20 years before starting his own unit.
As a technocrat he has been continuously upgrading the activities of the
plant, both in terms of technology and the ability to cater to large volumes.
As a result of this the company has been a market leader in terms of innovation
and the same can be gauged by the variety of its domestic and multi-national clients.
In 2002, the company constitution was changed to that of a partnership firm by merging it with a similar unit run by Mr. Doss¿ wife thus widening the scope of operation.
In the year 2005, the company was made into a Private Limited Company. The company was able to take its operation to a higher level in terms of volume, range and variety apart from establishing its identity as a true corporate entity. Other members of Mr. Doss¿ family who are technically competent and also possess sound management skills are working as directors in the company.
The company operates out of its 25,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility located in Bangalore, India. A variety of machinery ranging from small machines to hi-speed machines are used to cater to client¿s specific requirements. Tooling is done using CAD / CAM facilities and on CNC machines. This ensures that the formed products have perfect finish and contours. Mr. G.N. Doss is the chairman & Managing Director of Visu Poly Products.
In the year 1987 he founded Visu Packaging, a proprietary concern. This was
merged in the year 2002 with En-fy Packs, a similar unit run by his wife
Mrs. Sarala Das. The combined unit was a partnership firm till the year 2004.
In 2005, the constitution of the firm was changed to that of a Private Limited Company.
Before founding Visu Packaging Mr. Doss worked as a Manager (Plastics & Packaging) in Wiltech India Ltd., Mysore from 1982–87 and as the Deputy Director in the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) from 1977-82.
Mr. Doss is currently looking after the overall functioning of the company including day-to-day work, technical modalities, design and development of various products. He is also actively involved in the activities of Thermoformers Association of Karnataka and All India Plastic Manufacturers Association (AIPMA).
Mr. Doss has a Masters Degree in Science (M.Sc) from the University of Madras. Besides this he has specialized diploma in the field of packaging from U.K (Diploma M. Inst. of Pkg., London)
Mrs. Sarala Das – Director (HR & Admin)
Mrs. Sarala Das is a Director (HR & Admin) at Visu Poly Products Pvt. Ltd. She was one of the founding partners at Visu Poly Products while it was still a Partnership firm. Mrs. Das has been involved with Visu Poly Products (and Visu Packaging) since 1990 in various roles. She was also the proprietress of En-Fy Packs (sister concern of Visu Packaging) from 1998–2002. Due to some consolidation that took place this firm was merged with Visu Packaging (a firm that was owned and operated by Mr. Doss) and that resulted in the formation of Visu Poly Products.
Mrs. Das is currently involved in managing all Human Resources (HR), Payroll and Admin responsibilities at Visu Poly Products.
Mrs. Das has Bachelors Degree in Science (B. Sc) from Osmania University.
Mr. Sunil Das – Director (Operations & Finance)
Mr. Sunil Das is a Director (Operations & Finance) at Visu Poly Products Pvt. Ltd. He started his career as a Business Analyst for Deutsche Bank AG (Frankfurt, Germany). After working with them for about three years he moved to the United States where he worked as a Senior Business Analyst for a leading insurance company called Chubb & Sons. He then worked a Business / Financial Analyst for finance, insurance and brokerage companies like Target Asset Management and Edge Equipment Management.
Having relocated to Bangalore, India in 2004 he has been actively involved in the day-to-day operations of Visu Poly Products and when the firm was made into a private limited company he was made Director in charge of Operations & Finance.
Mr. Das has an Engineering Degree (B.E) in Electronics & Communication from Bangalore University. He has also done various courses in Finance, Brokerage, Management and Plastics Technology.
