Metzeler, Germany’s Leading foam producer, is a group company of British Vita ,the largest foam producing group in the World.
Metzeler foams form an Integral part of many components in quality automobiles like the Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, BMW and also in Aircrafts like the Airbus. Metzeler foams are also used in many engineering, medical and consumer products manufactured in Europe.
Metzeler foam materials are certified in accordance with Okotex-100 , QS9000, ISO9001, VDA6.1 and JAR 21 Subpart G for aviation industry, meeting and exceeding the highest standards worldwide. OkoTex assures consumers that these foams are entirely non toxic and free from any traces of harmful chemicals or substances. Metzeler produces more than 500 types of different foams for all types of applications. Metzeler is the world’s first manufacturer to produce foams using Sunflower oils. Also termed ‘NAWARO” in Germany , meaning Foam made of Renewable Raw Materials. This helps in preserving crude oil ( a major ingredient in foams ) , which is not available in unlimited quantities. Metzeler also does not use any CFC’s in the production of Foams, a clean affair for us while sleeping, for our planet and our future
