Quality Policy / ProcessesIn process inspection is carried out at several points within the production assembly lines. The inspection may be carried out as :
- First article inspection
Prior to starting larger manufacturing series, it is checked that machine set - up performance etc. are satisfactory. This check is carried out by Q. C. inspector
- Operators Inspection
For periodic and relatively uncomplicated operations the operator checks his own work. Operators inspection is carried out according to specfic instructions and procedures.
- Patrol Inspection
This kind of inspection is used when operator is unpractical. Patrol inspection is carried out by authorized inspectors according to given directives.
- Part Delivery Inspection
Inspection of part deliveries is carried out as spot check or 100% by authorized inspectors at fixed checkpoints.
Normally, the manufacturing department is reponsible for carring out in-process inspection according to the inspection instructions. Administration and follow-up is handled by the quality department.
