When talking about a high temperature scrap metal, tungsten scraps are at the top of the list. With a 3422 c melting temperature tungsten scrap is only second to carbon. Such a high temperature scrap metal, tungsten scrap can be recycled to use in high temperature situations such as filaments in light bulbs as well as many other electronics. But tungsten scrap and tungsten alloy scrap can still be used when alloyed with other scrap metals to make super alloys.
