TYKERB is indicated in combination with capecitabine for the treatment of patients with advanced or metastatic breast cancer whose tumors overexpress HER2 and who have received prior therapy including an anthracycline, a taxane, and trastuzumab.

Modify dose for cardiac and other toxicities, severe hepatic impairment, and CYP3A4 drug interactions. The concomitant use of strong CYP3A4 inhibitors and inducers should be avoided. Please see complete Prescribing Information.

BOXED WARNING: HEPATOTOXICITY
TYKERB has been associated with hepatotoxicity. Hepatotoxicity (ALT or AST >3 times the upper limit of normal and total bilirubin >2 times the upper limit of normal) has been observed in clinical trials (<1% of patients) and postmarketing experience. The hepatotoxicity may be severe and deaths have been reported. Causality of the deaths is uncertain. The hepatotoxicity may occur days to several months after initiation of treatment. Liver function tests (transaminases, bilirubin, and alkaline phosphatase) should be monitored before initiation of treatment, every 4 to 6 weeks during treatment, and as clinically indicated. If changes in liver function are severe, therapy with TYKERB should be discontinued and patients should not be re-treated with TYKERB.

Contraindication - TYKERB is contraindicated in patients with known severe hypersensitivity (eg, anaphylaxis) to this product or any of its components.

Offering Temonat -temozolomide
Temonat contains temozolomide and belongs to a class of drugs known as imidazotetrazine derivatives.

Indication
Temonat is used for the treatment of certain types of brain cancers (e. G. , refractory anaplastic astrocytoma).
Mechanism of action
Temonat slows or stops the growth and spread of cancer cells in your body.

Supplied as
Temonat is available as 20mg, 100mg & 250mg capsules.
Dosage
The recommended dose of temonat is usually once daily for 5 days. The treatment may be repeated every 28 days.

Overdose
Symptoms of overdose associated with temonat may include chills, persistent sore throat or persistent fever; or severe bleeding or bruising.

Drug interactions

the risk of severe infection may be increased by corticosteroids (e. G. , prednisone)

Side effects
The side effects associated with temonat are severe allergic reactions chest pain, confusion, depression, difficulty swallowing, increased or painful urination, fever, chills, or sore throat, memory loss, muscle pain or weakness, numbness and tingling, pain, irritation, itching, paralysis, persistent cough, red, swollen, peeling, or blistered skin, seizures, severe or persistent headache, nausea, or vomiting, severe tiredness or vision changes (e. G. , blurred vision, double vision), anxiety, back pain, breast pain, constipation.

Offering Geftinat - Gefitinib

Geftinat contains gefitinib and belongs to a class of anti-cancer medications called epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

Indication:

Geftinat is used for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.

Available As:

250 mg tablets.

Should not be taken without consulting the doctor if the patient ever had pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the lungs), or liver or kidney disease.

Not recommended if the patient is allergic to the medicine or any of its constituents

Kindly notify the doctor immediately, if allergic reactions (difficulty breathing, closing of the throat, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives), lung problems, liver problems, eye problems, severe nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, or diarrhea during treatment are noticed.

Drug Interactions:

• Cimetidine, ranitidine, esomeprazole, lansoprazole, omeprazole
• Rifampin or phenytoin
• Ketoconazole, itraconazole, fluconazole, erythromycin, clarithromycin, ritonavir, nelfinavir, indinavir, nefazodone
• The blood-thinning effects of warfarin may be increased by geftinat and hence, the risk of bleeding may increase

• Dry skin, itching, rash, acne and mouth sores
• Weight loss, weakness, new or worsening shortness of breath
• Cough or fever
• Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite
• Eye pain, redness, or irritation, change in vision, growth of eyelashes on the inside of the eyelid, hives, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, tongue, throat, hands, arms, feet, ankles or lower legs

Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (mCRC)
Avastin, when started with the first or second intravenous 5-FU–based chemotherapy for a patient's metastatic cancer, is approved to treat metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).

Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
Avastin, in combination with carboplatin is approved to treat advanced nonsquamous non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in people who have not yet received chemotherapy for their advanced disease.

Glioblastoma (GBM)
Avastin is approved to treat glioblastoma (GBM) that has progressed after prior treatment. The effectiveness of Avastin in GBM is based on tumor response. Currently, no data have shown whether or not Avastin improves disease-related symptoms or survival in people previously treated for GBM.

Metastatic Kidney Cancer (mRCC)
Avastin, used with interferon alfa, is approved to treat metastatic kidney cancer.

What is the most serious safety information I should know about Avastin?

Avastin can result in a serious, and sometimes fatal, side effect called gastrointestinal (GI) perforation. GI perforation is the development of a hole in the stomach, small intestine, or large intestine. Symptoms may include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, constipation, and fever. Avastin therapy should be stopped if GI perforation occurs.

Treatment with Avastin can lead to slow or incomplete wound healing (for example, when a surgical incision has trouble healing or staying closed). In some cases, this event resulted in fatality. Stop Avastin for at least 28 days before voluntary surgery. Do not start Avastin for at least 28 days after surgery and until the surgical wound is fully healed. Avastin therapy should be stopped in patients who experience slow or incomplete wound healing.

Offering Alburel - Human Albumin 20%.

Transfusions of whole blood or packed red blood cells may be necessary following administration of large

volumes of albumin to restore the haemoglobin concentration and prevent anaemia.

The following dosages are included as a guideline only. The clinician should determine appropriate therapy

after clinical assessment of the patient. Serum albumin values alone should not be used to determine dosage.

Start with 20 g of infusion and look for clinical response. May be repeated if necessary

Offering Zoldonat-zoledronic Acid
Zoldonat contains zoledronic acid and belongs to a class of medications called bisphosphonates.

Indication
zoldonat is used to treat osteoporosis in women and men. Zoldonat is also used to treat paget's disease of bone. zoldonat may be used to treat bone disease in patients who have cancer.
Mechanism of Action
Zoldonat works by decreasing the breakdown of the bone and increasing the bone density (thickness). This reduces the amount of calcium that is released into the blood from bones and helps to lower your blood calcium level.

Supplied as:zoldonat is available as 4mg single dose vial.

Overdose:symptoms of overdose associated with zoldonat may include dizziness; decreased urination; fast, pounding or irregular heartbeat; mental or mood changes; muscle cramps; numbness or tingling, (especially around the mouth), fever, muscle weakness, depression, difficulty walking, seizures, confusion, shortness of breath, sudden tightening of muscles, numbness, or tingling in fingers or toes; double vision & difficulty in speaking.

Offering Erlocip-Erlotinib
Erlocip contains erlotinib and belongs to a class of medications called kinase inhibitors.
INDICATION
Erlocip is used for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.
Erlocip is used in combination with gemcitabine for the treatment of pancreatic cancer that has spread to nearby tissues or to other parts of the body.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
Erlocip works by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that slows the growth of cancer cells. This helps slow or stop the spread of cancer cells.
SUPPLIED AS
Erlocip is available as 150mg tablets.
OVERDOSE
Symptoms of overdose associated with Erlocip may include diarrhea and rash.
SIDE EFFECTS
The side effects associated with Erlocip are difficulty breathing, closing of the throat, swelling of the lips, tongue, face or hives, shortness of breath, increased coughing, fever, chest pain, severe or persistent nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, eye pain or irritation, skin rash, dryness, itching, acne, weakness, blistering, peeling, dry, or cracked skin, itching, tenderness, burning of the skin, growth of eyelashes on the inside of the eyelid, unusual bruising or bleeding.

Offering veenat-Imatinib
Veenat contains imatinib and belongs to a class of medications known as protein-tyrosine kinase inhibitor.

Indiaction
Veenat is used for the treatment of a type of leukemia (chronic myeloid leukemia or cml), gastrointestinal stromal tumors (gists - a type of tumor that grows in the walls of the digestive passages and may spread to other parts of the body). Veenat may also be used to prevent cancer from growing in patients after surgical removal of gist.
Mechanism of Action
Veenat works by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that promotes the multiplication of cancer cells. This helps slow or stop the spread of cancer cells.

Supplied as:veenat is available in 100mg & 400mg tablets or capsules.
Dosage: veenat is usually taken once a day.

Overdose:symptoms of overdose associated with veenat may include diarrhea, yellowing eyes and skin, stomach pain, fever, swelling, dark urine, change in amount of urine (severe increase or decrease), headache, loss of appetite, unusual bruising or bleeding, unusual tiredness or weakness, vomiting.
Precautions & Warnings
Veenat should not be taken without consulting your doctor if you have ever had pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the lungs), or liver or kidney disease, bone marrow problems, low white blood cell levels, or low blood platelet levels or if you have had your thyroid gland removed and if you have a history of swelling (edema) or fluid retention.
