V. Vijay Babu - CEO: Vijay Babu has more than 20 years of experience working in start-ups and established companies. He was previously VP & Head, Technology, Network Solutions Group, Sasken; prior to Sasken he was Co-founder, President and COO of iSoftTech; iSoftTech was acquired by Sasken in 2006. iSoftTech was one of the pioneers in providing Product Development Outsourcing services to companies abroad. He grew it profitably from scratch to about $2.5M of annual revenues.
L. Kannan - Founder and CTO: Kannan has about 20 years of association with NGOs and other groups engaged in rural development. He founded Vortex in 2001 to develop technologies appropriate to rural India. He is also founder of a matriculation school in Tamil Nadu. He is associated with the LRAMP programme of IIT Madras that mentors grassroots innovators. He holds various patents on the vortex ATM design. He completed his B.Tech (Mechanical Engg.) from IIT Madras.
R. Narayanakumar - VP- Engineering: Narayanakumar has more than 17 years of experience in leading engineering teams and developing embedded software for communications and process industry. Previously he was GM- Business Development, Network Solutions Group, Sasken. Prior to Sasken he was Co-founder and Vice President, Embedded Solutions, iSoftTech; iSoftTech was acquired by Sasken in 2006. Prior to iSoftTech, he was the Head of Engineering & Design, MTL India. He has lead teams in developing Carrier-grade Core Routing and Enterprise Datacom products, Network Management Software, Automation Test Frameworks, and several instrumentation products for process monitoring/ control. Narayanakumar received his B.E. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Madras University.
K. Ravichandran - VP- Manufacturing Operations: Ravi has more than 32 years of experience, with extensive experience in manufacturing operations, delivering world class products for international customers. Previously he was Head – Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Services at Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.
Kamal Sharma – VP – Sales & Marketing: Kamal spearheads all the Sales and Business development initiatives for Vortex globally. Kamal comes with over 20 years of hardcore Sales Management experience and has been involved with couple of Indian companies as well as MNCs to set up their operations in India and Middle East. Kamal has been instrumental in executing many large contracts of Business critical applications in BFSI & Telco sector. He comes with tremendous experience in Knowledge Management, Business Intelligence, Contact Centers & CRM solutions.
V.Panchapakesan- VP- Customer Service: Panch, as the ATM industry knows him, is an industry veteran in the ATM maintenance business, and was involved with the very first lot of ATM installations in India . He has over 2 decades of experience in ATM Service industry and was General Manager – Operations in Prizm Payments. Prior to Prizm, he was Director – Service Operations, Diebold India, heading ATM Service Operations for more than 13 years. Prior to that he worked with Philips India and Electronics Corporation of India Ltd and has extensive experience on implementation of projects field Operations.

Dr. Bhaskar Ramamurthi: Dr. Bhaskar, a founding member of TeNeT, holds an M.S. (1982) and a Ph.D (1985) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA.
Arun Diaz: Arun Diaz is a Management Consultant working with local and multinational clients in India and abroad. With a degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras and an MBA from Xavier Institute, Jamshedpur, India, Arun joined Standard Chartered Bank in India in 1973. His early career covered all areas of banking and included assignments in Europe and the Middle East. From 1985 he was Operations Manager, India with responsibility for Technology and Operations.
Anuradha Ramachandran: Anuradha Ramachandran, combines operating and investment banking experience with incubation/seed funding exposure leading the investing efforts of Ventureast TeNeT II Fund, the second successive seed stage fund by the Ventureast-TeNeT group combine.

Jean-Philippe de Schrevel: Jean-Philippe de Schrevel is chairman of Oasis Fund and CEO of Bamboo Finance. Previously, Jean-Philippe co-founded BlueOrchard Finance in 2001, which today manages in excess of USD 800 million in microfinance investment portfolios and has since remained a part of its management team. Previously, he was with Dexia Asset Management as the Micro Credit Manager.
Eric Berkowitz: Eric Berkowitz is a founding member and investment executive of Bamboo Finance. Eric has over fifteen years of international business and social entrepreneurship experience in twelve countries. Prior to joining Bamboo Finance, he was a Fellow with the Acumen Fund in China focused on developing social enterprises which increase healthcare access. In addition he consulted on projects in Asia and the US in the areas of microfinance, financial services and business development. In microfinance his experience includes assisting a multinational bank to invest in the MF sectors of Indonesia and Pakistan, and developing a strategic business plan for SEWA Bharat in India.
