Profile
Incepted in the year 1942, we VVD Sons Private Ltd are one of the established private limited companies, which is actively engaged in the manufacture, export and supply of fresh and pure coconut oil. Our large assortment includes agro food products such as edible oil, chili powder, turmeric powder, vermicelli, coriander, asafoetida powder and basmati rice. The foundation stone of the company was laid by Mr.V.V. Danushkodi in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu , with an objective to cater the requirements of global clients for fresh coconut oil and other agro based products. Under the guidance of our mentor Mr. Shri Nithyanandham, we have grown leaps and bounds. The efforts of our mentors are directed towards the continual improvement of the products range and skills of the employees, which results in the satisfaction of our clients not only in the domestic market but in the international market as well.

Through our range of qualitative products, we have set a strong foothold in terms of market presence across the globe. We have developed amicable relationships with our channel partners and thus have a wide distribution network. Our goodwill with these partners has enabled us in catering to the requirements of plus 456 distributors and retail outlets across the region of Southern India covering the market regions of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Our Products Range
We offer a wide assortment of coconut products such as oil, which is both used for cooking and also acts as a great nutrient for hair. The small molecular structure of coconut oil allows for easy absorption through the skin, giving it a soft and smooth texture. It is ideal for the relief of dry, rough and wrinkled skin. Coconut oil as an edible oil is widely used across varied South Indian states. The advantages of using coconut oil are well known. Plenty in lauric acid, coconut edible oil has anti-viral, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. It is also effective in lowering the viral load of HIV/AIDS patients. Widely used by thyroid sufferers to increase body metabolism and to lose weight, we ensure that these are processed under utmost hygienic conditions. Besides this, we also offer chili powder, turmeric powder, vermicelli, coriander, asafoetida powder, cooking spices and basmati rice.


VVD Export Division
VVD Exports, a division of the VVD & Sons (P) Ltd aims at catering to the global demands of food ingredients, food preparatories and processed foods. Our target segment includes importers and wholesalers, super markets, grocery and provision stores, and restaurants. In addition to our traditionally manufactured coconut oil, we are also in a position to source and supply quality food ingredients and food preparatories such as spices and spice powders, masala powders, food mixes, instant foods, pulses & dhalls, basmati and non basmati rice, wheat and wheat flour, all types of edible oil, etc This makes VVD Exports a one stop shop for all your requirements which relates to the ethnic Indian kitchen, or for that matter, any other kitchen of the world. With a convergence of global culture and the expansive food eating habits, there are no limitations to creativity in cooking. We work towards giving you quality food products at competitive prices from India.


Infrastructure
We have profound infrastructure, which is equipped with machines to process and manufacture coconut oil and other products. Our processing unit is well equipped with an ISO 9001 certified plant in Tuticorin. Our processing unit is well equipped with machines, which are used for the extraction, blending, drying and varied other such processes. We use traditional method of drying coconuts instead of roasting them, which helps in the retention of aroma of the oil. Further, we make sure that all the machines installed in our manufacturing unit is upgraded form time to time to ensure efficient and better processing without loss in time.

An ISO 9001:2000 certified, quality committed organization, we follow an integrated quality management system. As a part of this quality management system, we have formulated certain quality objectives and policies and are committed to abide with them so as to offer our client's complete satisfaction. Logistic Support and Packaging
We have a separate logistic division, which assists us in fulfilling specified hygiene factors to maintain smooth functioning and coordination between the TPUs and its distribution network. It works as an effective connect between the teams of sales and operation. The logistic system manned by a team of personnel effectively monitors and ensures the below mentioned aspects such as:
  • Ensuring there is no stock out situation
  • Maintaining STRs at C & F Agents.
  • Meeting sales requirements of SKUs week-wise.
  • Effectively reaching DBs from the TPU quicker and cost effectively.
Further, we also take care of the packaging of our products and ensure that these are packed through automatic machines without manual handling. This ensures pure coconut oil of the highest quality reaches at the final destination.
