Electric Scooter (Battery Operated) is one of the "revolutions" in the transportation industry. Electric Scooters have a huge potential in the world including India, due to its overwhelming advantages over petrol driven scooters.

Presently China manufuctures mainly Electric Scooters. We understand that about 20 million vehicles are plying on their roads. Someday in the near future all scooters made in the world will be only battery operated Electric Scooters With the above vision our company was incorporated (July 2006). Two models namely Glide 25 and Winnie were assembled and Automotive Research Association of India( ARAI) approvals for the same was obtained in September 2006 as per the regulations of Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR), 1989. Commercial production was started from December 2006 and by the fiscal year 31/03/2009, we had manufactured and sold over 7100 vehicles through our dealership network mainly in Tamilnadu and Kerala. We have a few dealers in Andhra Pradesh. At present we have about 70 dealers out of which 40 are very active. We also have showrooms in Chennai, Salem ( TamilNadu), Ongole( Andhra Pradesh), Bangalore( Karnataka). Due to the huge demand envisaged for the electric scooters based on the above results and enquiries from the market, we have put up our own factory at Vichoor industrial estate (Chennai). Our factory is a four storeyed concrete structure totalling 15000 Sq.ft on a plot of 0.28 acres. Our present infrastructure facility will permit us to manufacture/ assemble about 24000 vehicles per year in two shifts. We are now working on expanding our dealership network to other states in India. Even though we are already having a lot of enquiries to export our vehicles; we intend to start our export activities only after finalising with suitable joint venture partners from abroad.

The infrastructure comprises of state-of-the-art manufacturing unit spread over 0.28 acres with a built up area of 15000 Sq.ft. Well organized production, assembly, quality control, testing, painting, polishing facilities are in place with an annual capacity of about 28000 scooters and bikes. We also have our own wagons/ trucks to transport the finished products to our dealers and customers.

We adhere to total quality management systems and we conduct about 50 tests before passing on the scooters to our dealers and clients.

• Inspect the components and spare parts at the procurement point and at our stores
• Inspection at all stages of production
• Strict vigilance during the different assembling stages
• Inspection report for each stage of testing

• Tyre pressure retention
• In house Simulation Testing for Actual Road Condition

We have a fully operational Research and Development department that tracks the developments world wide in this field and develop ideas to improve and adopt them for Indian Road conditions and Customers. We then develop prototype and after testing send for ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) approvals before developing the manufacturing processes.

We also get feedback from our direct customers and dealers on the performance of the vehicles. Any improvement works will also be undertaken by this department.
