Construction fibers are manufactured using high quality virgin polypropylene that are hydrophobic in nature and do not absorb water. Cetex polypropylene fibers are resistant to alkalis, chlorides and other chemicals while being less conductive to heat. Use of polypropylene fibers do not interfere with the water demands of concrete and facilitates the hydration process. When added, these fibers help the concrete in setting faster. Polypropylene is one of the lightest synthetic polymers, as it is 52% lighter than polyester and 26% lighter than nylon and acrylic, which makes them a perfect reinforcement. The triangular cross section of the Cetex fibers has 29% more surface area than circular fibers, which is also a reason for these being better reinforcements. Adding these microfibers also reinforces the concrete in the cases where manual mixing is done.

These Cetex CPPST - Macrofibres are used to replace steel in concrete for the purpose of reinforcement, particularly in the floor and precast area. The CETEX CPPST is a blend of CPP24, CP40 and CPP55. It can also be customized as per the nature of application. CPP40 has a longer cut length, which gives better anchorage and reinforcement and CP24 helps increasing the number of fibers in a dosage resulting in less crack formation. CETEX CPPST macrofibers are ideal for concrete structures that are supposed to bear heavy loads.
The Cetex CPP55 - Macrofibres we offer to the construction industry are manufactured using high quality polypropylene. Their standard cut length ranges from 53 to 57 mm, as longer length ensures better reinforcement. These microfibers are used to improve the strength of the concrete structures that bear heavy loads.
