process:

·wet incoming compressed air passes through pre-filter

·passes through the slide piston valve assembly

·directed towards chamber i where the compressed air passes upward through the desiccant

·compressed air drying action by adsorption

·dry compressed air from chamber i then moves from the check valve assembly and through the after-filter to the application or work area

·compressed air dries in chamber i

·desiccant dries in the previous cycle

·the chamber ii is depressurized to atmosphere

·a portion of the dry compressed air passes through the needle valve / orifice plate

·purge valve is closed on completion of regeneration

·tower is slowly re-pressurized to line pressure and smooth changeover takes place in 60 seconds

·drying period of 5 minutes provides an efficient dew point of -40â°c or better (at atmospheric pressure)
