Bi-Axially Expanded PTFE Gasket

Teadit® 24 SH is a gasket sheet produced from pure, multidirectionally expanded PTFE, a special production process ensures equal tensile strength in all directions. This makes gaskets cut form Teadit® 24 SH one of the best, most versatile and most reliable gasket materials on the market. Cold flow and creep has been eliminated, gasket parameters have been drastically improved, while all the excellent physical properties of PTFE have been fully retained.

The complete range of Expanded PTFE joint-sealant-material gasketing – from the standard “gasket from a spool” joint sealant Teadit® 24B, to the wider version Teadit® 24BB, up to the multi-directionally expanded tape Teadit® 25BI which has equal tensile strength both lengthwise and crosswise. The multi-directionally expanded Teadit® 25BI combines all the advantages of expanded PTFE with minimal cold-flow and creep. This is the ultimate solutions for the toughest sealing problems.

Metallic Gaskets

Teadit® Metallic Gaskets (Kamprofile) offer outstanding flexibility and recovery, assuring seal integrity under pressure and temperature fluctuations, flange rotation, bolt stress relaxation and creep. Teadit® Kammprofile gaskets are used by the chemical and petrochemical industry, as well as in power stations and refineries, on both standard pipe-work and specialist applications, e.g. shell and tube heat exchangers, etc. Kammprofile gaskets are constructed from a precision serrated metallic core with soft gasket materials – flexible graphite or expanded PTFE – bonded to either side. Depending on the kind of metal used, Teadit® Kammprofile gaskets can be used for all media from pH 0 to 14 Teadit® Kammprofile gaskets can be delivered in different styles and qualities: without outer location ring with integral outer location ring (with preset breaking point) with loose fitting outer location ring.
