Fremarc Designs Furniture is a manufacturer of traditional style furniture. They are known for their custom finishes. The style is French, English and Spanish.

Kravet offers a wonderful selection upholstery furniture such as sofas, daybed, benches and ottomans. They also offer a selection of wood furniture--mostly items manufactured by other vendors. Upholstered furniture is really their forte. They do this very, very well.

The Michael Weiss collection from Vanguard Furniture is our absolute favorite line for contemporary dining room furniture, bedroom furniture and upholstery.  Their look is modern, but  quite warm and stylish.  We feel the price point is very reasonable considering the high quality.  The upholstery pieces are supremely comfortable.

Pulaski is a very popular manufacturer that has been around for years. We’ve seen their products in Horchow and other higher end catalogs. Their Bellisimo collection is a perennial favorite and is a best seller. If you are into old-world, European styling, Pulaski furniture is for you.

Redford House Furniture is a small boutique furniture manufacturer based in Southern California.  The style is part shabby chic, part European.  The furniture is custom finish with distressing for a casual look.   Textures such as cane and raffia are used for visual effects. If you like the shabby-chic or colonial look, this is a good line for you.

Founded in 1954, Tropitone is a popular manufacturer of outdoor furniture and patio furniture.  Their price range is reasonable, shipping is quite fast and the product line is extensive. If it is for the outdoor, Tropitone has it. The product line include dining patio furniture, chaise lounge, umbrellas, pavilions, barstools and occasional tables. 

Vanguard Furniture is our favorite furniture manufacturer. The line is wide in scope and range; they have several collections that will suite most styles and taste. The styles range from traditional to classic modern. Their upholstery collection is very extensive. One of the newer collections, Ann Selke, is particularly pretty. It's very colorful and fun.

Vaughan Bassett Furniture consists of mostly bedroom furniture, and more recently, entertainment centers. They are very inexpensive and the quality is reasonable. If we must make a comparison, we would say that it is equivalent to Broyhill.

Barbara Barry fabrics is a licensed collection with Kravet.  It carries the Barbara Barry signature look, which consists of muted colors, simple patterns and clean-lined designs.  The colors are wonderful. If you like her furniture style, you will find Barbara Barry fabrics to be a nice complement with her upholstery pieces.  The fabrics is available for upholstery, drapery and windows treatment.

Beacon Hill is the "couture" line of Robert Allen fabrics.  They are exquisite, but also very expensive.  This is a favorite among customers who are looking for a high end look.

Highland Court is the couture division of Duralee fabrics.  It includes the higher-priced fabrics from Duralee. Recently this collection has been extensively updated, and it is now absolutely stunning. We especially like the Philip Gorrivan collection. It's very modern, very fresh, very chic.

Laura Ashley fabrics is a licensed collection from Kravet. It's a very popular line and is widely distributed. The styles is Country/English, with solid, floral and geometric patterns in linen or cotton. Prices for this collection is very reasonable-ranging from $20-$50 per yard

In the past few years, Lee Jofa has expanded their collection extensively. While the company still mainly has traditional styles, many of the new collections are very modern, very fun. Kelly Wearstler and Thomas O'Brien collection are the perfect examples of this new direction for Lee Jofa. A new collection worth checking out is Threads. It's a very elegant, very refined collection with subdued colors and gorgeous textures.

Groundworks is a licensed collection by Thomas O'Brien for Lee Jofa.  It consists of the contemporary and warm modern looks that Thomas O'Brien is known for. It has very nice texture, beautiful colors and subdued patterns.

F Schumacher is a stunning line of upholstery fabric, drapery fabric, trims and wallpapers. It is very beautiful, but also very expensive. Retail range from $100 at the low end to $300 per yard at the high end. The wallpaper is also amazing.

Kravet fabrics are known for their exquisite colors and textures.  Often used for upholstery and window treatment, Kravet quality and workmanship are excellent.

Pindler and Pindler is a major distributor of upholstery and drapery fabrics.  Is is based in Moorpark, California.

duralee is one of the largest distributor of upholstery fabrics and drapery fabrics.   the line consists of duralee fabrics and highland court, which is the more expensive line.

Fabricut is one of the top four fabric distributors in the US.  It is based in Oklahoma.  The company offers a variety of upholstery fabrics, windows drapery fabrics and trims.  Fabricut fabrics are used extensively within the design industry.  The company recently started to offer many contemporary patterns in addition to their traditional fabric line.

If you watch the Apprentice, you’ll see Barbara Cosgrove lamps featured throughout the contestants living space (okay, so maybe this was years ago, before the show got cancelled).

Frederick Cooper offers traditional lamps with a heavy emphasis on Asian style. It also offers a more contemporary selection by Larry Laslo.

Robert Abbey lamps are very popular as they offer clean-lined, modern styles at very reasonable prices. We’ve seen their products featured in catalogs like Restoration Hardware.

Brownstone Furniture is a manufacturer of contemporary furniture, with the primary focus on bedroom furniture. Recently Brownstone haved added a few dining room set to complement their product line.

Nichols and Stone Furniture Company Nichols and Stone was one of the oldest American furniture company.  It made very good traditional, all-American dining room furniture, using solid hardwood and hand-finishes.

Burton James specializes in high end sofas and sectionals. Their upholstery is very well made, the fabric selection is decent, and the quality of construction is high.

John Charles Designs is a manufacturer of contemporary sofa, sectional, barstool, chairs, ottoman and bench.  The style is very clean-lined and modern.  They have won numerous awards for innovative designs.

Distinction Leather is a manufacturer of quality leather sofas, chairs and sectional.

Distinction Leather style is mostly traditional with a small mix of contemporary. The leather selection is good and turn around time is fair (about 6-8 weeks). Distinction Leather furniture is mid-range in price.

Moroni offers stylish leather furniture at very reasonable prices. Their quality, considering the prices, is amazing. Each piece has down filling and we have to say it’s one of the most comfortable upholstery pieces we’ve sat on.

Charleston Forge is a leading manufacturer of wrought-iron furniture such as barstools, baker racks, beds, cocktail tables,  occasional tables and beds. The best selling items are Charleston Forge barstools.  They are casual, stylish and very reasonably-priced.

Modus Furniture produces mainly bedroom furniture. Their prices are very low and the quality is reasonable. They are sold in a lot of chain stores.

Modus’s style is simple and generic. It’s a good transitional furniture line. Each collection has coordinating pieces that makes it easy to put a bedroom together. If you are looking for simple furniture that are reasonably-priced, this is a good choice. Lead time is usually very fast if stock is available (2-3 weeks).

Emerson et Cie is an importer of dining room furniture, decorative accessories and upholstery products. Their style is a mix of old-world European and Asian-influenced.

Wesley Allen manufactures wrought iron beds and occasional pieces. Wesley Allen beds are very popular and are featured in many national magazines.

Currey & Co is famous for their chandeliers. Their style is casual and dressy at the same time. Currey's products have been featured in several magazines.  Their look tends to be more traditional, with a heavy emphasis on wrought iron.

American Drew is a mid-range furniture manufacturer of bedroom furniture, dining room furniture and occasional furniture such as entertainment centers, cocktail table, armoires and cabinets.

American Drew Furniture style ranges from traditional to contemporary. Its bestselling collection includes the licensed furniture collection from Jessica McClintock and Bob Mackie. The collection from American Drew change from time to time. The company does a good job of keeping the products up to date and changes their style to keep up with  the time. henkel harris makes beautiful and stately, mostly wood furniture such as armoires, china cabinets, dining tables, buffet and so on. It's the type of furniture you'll see with old money--handsome, traditional and perhaps a bit stuffy.

2nd Avenue Designs is a manufacturer of wrought iron chandeliers, lighting and bakers racks. The company offers several finish options. All items are made by hands and the quality is extremely high. If you like the solid iron, Mediterranean-looking type of chandeliers that are large-scaled, this is a good line for you.

Harden is one of the oldest furniture manufacturer in the US and is one of the few that still makes the furniture here. The company makes solid, traditional furniture that consists of dining room furniture, bedroom furniture, and living room furniture.

Allan Copley specializes in contemporary occasional furniture such as cocktail tables, dining tables, bookcases and console tables. Their look is contemporary, clean-lined. Dark wood is often used. On metal pieces, there are several options for finishes. We like Allan Copley for their excellent prices and the quality of their products. We also like their clean designs.

Ficks Reed is a high end manufacturer of rattan and wicker furniture for indoor and outdoor.  The company has been in the business for years (since 1885).  It is known for classic styling and high quality in the niche market of rattan and wicker.
