Telefónica is one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, offering communications solutions in 25 countries. The five combined operations which have selected XIUS, total more than 6.4 million mobile telephone subscribers.
"These five countries are markets with steadily growing telecommunications sectors. Fixed line tele-density in these areas was traditionally very low, and as a result the mobile phone has become the preferred method of communication, with prepay as an especially popular option," says G.
