Body Relaxation

We help our clients in teaching those methods, which can help them in relaxing their body. In this, the first step of meditation is savasana, which is relaxation with self-awareness. To practice this asan, keep the body steady, relaxed and free from tension and then keep spine and neck straight but without stiffness. After that, relax all the muscles of body and let body become limp. This asan has two implications which include complete relaxation of the body and self-awareness.

 

in order to achieve complete relaxation of the body, mentally divide this asan into several parts and concentrate mind on each part of the body one by one, from feet to head. Then, allow mind to spread in the whole part and undertake a trip in the whole part. To ensure good results, use the technique of auto-suggestion to relax the whole part and experience the resulting relaxation. This will relax each and every muscle and nerve of the body. And in the same way attain, the relaxation of the whole body. Also to keep in mind, use deep concentration and remain completely alert, while practicing savasana.
