Action:

• Cementitious Micro Concrete YP-Grout MC is used to minimize cracking, which is caused by drying shrinkage
• After it is completely restrained by reinforcement or by physical restrain, its expansion causes solidity in mortar
• The subsequent drying of shrinkage so produced merely reduces the tensile stress in order to relieve the expansive strains caused by the initial expansion
• The effectiveness of shrinkage compensating capability is reduced once the partial restrain is provided
• The shrinkage compensation increases with the improvement of the restrain
• It is safe to use in direct contact with metal & does not cause any corrosion

Direction for use:

Surface treatment:

• Surfaces on which the mortar will come in contact must be sound, clean & dense
• An evenly scrabbled & slightly textured surface is prepared by removing all laitance and any unsound material
• Once the surface is cleaned, it should be pre wetted to dampen the concrete
• Later, all free surface water must be wiped off

Mixing:

• Add 4.25 lts of water to 25 kg bag & mix it thoroughly in order to achieve pour able consistency
• Add 4.5 lts of water to 25 kg bag & mix it thoroughly in order to get flow able consistency
• Initially, the water must be added slowly over a period of 1.5 min then mix it with the assistance of mechanical mixer for another 2 mins
• Water addition should be accurate by + - 0.1 lts for achieving desired results
