We offer our services for fabrication of the framework on which cinema screens are installed. These can be made using M.S. pipes or angles. Wooden frames are not popular in India.
Screen frames are more or less permanent structures and should last a lifetime. The screen is changed every 2-5 years and so the frame should allow for easy access on all sides. 
Material for the frame is always purchased locally or at the nearest market available to reduce freight / octroi costs. Often the welding machines / equipment is also hired locally.
Extreme care needs to be given to maintain fire safety standards during welding of the frame.
The frame is normally supported from the wall at various points. It should be sturdy enough to support the weight of 3-4 men at a time as well.
You can incorporate speaker platforms in the frame itself or have them erected seperately behind the frame. The speakers are normally in 3 locations vis right, center and left.
The frame is painted black to avoid rusting which can stain the screen. Hooks can be welded on all sides as well for easy installation of the screen.

We offer automated masking solutions with simple controls. At the flick of a switch masking rolls into place reducing the screen size to match the picture aspect ratio.

Motorised masking is available as top and bottom masking and side masking as well.

The cloth used is normally jet black and can be accoustically transparent. 

Travel time for the masking to roll into place can be adjusted if necessary. The entire mechansim is silent and reliable.
 
Motorised masking is often overlooked by cinema owners. However, quality conscious exhibitors insist on motorised masking as they believe in delivering a true cinema experience to their patrons which results in customer loyalty.

We manufacture custom- made projection screens for cinema theatres and multiplexes. These are available in different types such as "Ultra Matte White" and "Pearl".
Features of cinema screens:

The cinema screen has vertical joints which are invisible under normal projection conditions.

It has aluminium eyelets at 9 inches on all 4 sides so that the screen can be installed on a  frame using cotton rope.

The material used is PVC which is inherently flame retardant. This is available in a number of finishes i.e. the projection surface is different, due to which the brightness or "gain" varies from screen to screen.

All screens supplied for cinema installations are perforated i.e. the screen has hundreds of  tiny holes so that the sound passes from the back of the screen (the speakers) to the audience without being muffled. Perforations are also offered in a number of patterns and sizes depending on the acoustic performance required. The perforations can get blocked with dirt over a period of time resulting in a less than ideal sound performance.
 
Screens tend to yellow over time and need to be replaced so that the picture quality is not affected.  Dust and dirt collected on the surface can also result in dim pictures and dark spots. Most screens are washable with a light detergent and water.
