As of my last update in January 2022, BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency) in India primarily focuses on energy efficiency measures, standards, and labeling for appliances and equipment through its star rating system.

BEE does not specifically offer a brand registration service. However, BEE's star rating system includes the labeling of various electrical appliances and equipment based on their energy efficiency. Manufacturers or brands can voluntarily participate in BEE's labeling program to showcase the energy efficiency of their products by displaying star ratings.

Here's an overview of the process:

1. Compliance with BEE Standards: Manufacturers or brands need to ensure that their products meet BEE's energy efficiency standards for the relevant category of appliances or equipment.

2. Testing and Certification: Products need to undergo testing by BEE-accredited testing laboratories to determine their energy efficiency levels. Upon meeting the standards, the products receive star ratings based on their energy efficiency performance.

3. Labeling and Display: After receiving the star rating certification from BEE, manufacturers can label their products with the corresponding star rating, indicating their energy efficiency level. This labeling helps consumers identify and choose energy-efficient products.

Manufacturers or brands interested in participating in BEE's labeling program can engage with BEE-accredited testing labs and adhere to the testing and certification process. The objective is to ensure that products meet the energy efficiency standards set by BEE for various categories such as refrigerators, air conditioners, lighting products, etc.
