Our 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC-2216 B/A Gray is a flexible, two-part, room-temperature curing epoxy adhesive that provides high shear and peel strength, making this an ideal adhesive for the most demanding aerospace applications. It maintains bond strength at low temperatures and stands up to challenging environmental conditions.

You can use this high performance epoxy adhesive to replace mechanical fasteners, screws, rivets and spot welds. 3M™ Scotch Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC 2216 B/A Gray is excellent for bonding a variety of substrates such a metals and many plastics. It can be dispensed in duo pak cartridges for use with the 3M™ EPX™ Applicator System for minimal waste and professional results. The mix ratio is 2:3 and the adhesive provides a 90 minute work life to allow time to adjust fit prior to setting. The adhesive reaches handling strength in approximately 12 hours and is fully cured in 7 days (at 72° F /22° C), but can be accelerated with heat. This epoxy is excellent for creating bonds that can be used at cryogenic temperatures. It’s widely used for composite laminate edge sealing.

Strong and flexible, our 3M™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil/Glass Cloth Tape 363 consists of an aluminum foil, glass cloth backing combined with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive. Ideal for use as a protective wrap for heat sensitive cables and other instruments exposed to movement and vibration. Commonly used in aerospace, automotive and general industrial applications.

3M™ Aluminum Foil Tape 425 is UL Recognized to UL 746C (File E 122798) and Classified by UL to UL 723 "L" for low flammability rating (File R 7311). It can be certified to meet SAE AMS T 23397 and L T 80C and meets F.A.R 25.853(a). Temperature use range is from 65° to 300°F ( 54° to 149°C).

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP110 is a translucent (orange when dry), flexible, fast-setting, two-part epoxy adhesive that works well on a variety of substrates, including metals, ceramics, concrete, composites, wood and many plastics. Upon curing, final colors will vary from yellow to orange.

When using a Duo-Pak (DP) size adhesive, rely on 3M dispensing equipment for convenient and accurate metering, mixing and dispensing. The low viscosity makes it easy to dispense and self-level; and an effective tool for filleting and potting. The adhesive reaches handling strength in approximately 20 minutes and is fully cured in 48 hours (at 72°F/22°C). Upon curing, final colors will vary from yellow to orange. Understanding Epoxy Adhesives Epoxy adhesives are part of the class of adhesives called "structural adhesives," which include polyurethane, acrylic, cyanoacrylate and others. Epoxies are formulated as liquid reactive polymers that undergo a chemical reaction when mixed and then cure to form a solid plastic material.
