Accutom-100 is a precision table top cut-off machine and grinding machine for precise and deformation-free cutting. Equipped with sample rotation or oscillation. Pre-set constant feed speed in the range of 0.005 - 3.00 mm/s. Accutom-100 having inbuilt 100 programming methods, cut-off wheel/cup-wheel database, Material database & can be programmed to automatically cut series of slices from the same sample. The motor of Accutom-100 has variable cut-off wheel speeds from 300 up to 5000 rpm in steps of 100 rpm. The advanced software will also compensate for the wheel thickness and for slight drift of the cut-off wheel. This results in very precise sections with an identical thickness, as required in failure analysis or the examination of biomaterials. Accutom-100 can be used for target grinding in components. When the precise position of a component within a sample is known, Accutom-100 can be programmed to grind down to precisely that position. The position can be adjusted in steps of 5 m. Tinius Olsen offers a full range of torsion testing machines in capacities from 1,000 to 30,000 Nm. These uniquely superior torsion testers provide loading and weighing capabilities in both directions of rotation. This feature makes it possible to conveniently determine not only the ultimate torque load of a specimen, but how that specimen behaves under conditions of continuous or intermittent torque loading in both directions.

    Each torsion tester comprises a variable speed drive loading system and a digital control and indicating system in a fixed unit. The weighing head with its strain gage torque sensor is mounted on a moveable unit which can positioned on the rails to accomodate specimens of varying lengths.

LaboPol-30 is a strong grinding and polishing machine for 300 mm diameter discs. With variable speed from 50-500 rpm, it is possible to carry out grinding, lapping and polishing processes, including final polishing with oxide polishing suspensions. LaboForce-Mi is a semi-automatic specimen mover for thin sections and mineralogical specimens. The force is applied through springs which can be individually adjusted up to maximum load of 20 N. Struers cut-off wheels have been specially developed for materialographic specimen preparation: they produce specimens that are in perfect condition for the next preparation step. Ous maximum life time of the wheelsr large range of different wheels assures that all materials can be cut without structural changes due to overheating or deformation, and guarantee.

With cut-off wheels from Struers the abrasive density varies across the wheel radius – with increasing density towards the center of the wheel. This means that the cutting performance of the wheel remains constant even as it wears to a smaller diameter.

As a conventional cut-off wheel with uniform abrasive density wears, the cutting performance changes from the outside to the inside. The number of grains is reduced, the load of each grain increases and the wheel appears to get softer and softer. The drawback is higher wear and a less controllable cut.

Hardness Tester/Semi-Automatic and Fully Automatic Universal Tester  - Duramin 40,  Duramin 650,  Duramin 100:
Duramin-40 is the primary range of Struers micro/macro hardness testers. It is available with a manual and motorised XY-stage and with an overview camera. Duramin-40 comes with three load ranges; 10 gf – 10 kgf, 10 gf – 31.25 kgf, and 1 gf – 62.5 kgf. The tester includes an integrated PC with a separate monitor for touch screen or mouse operation. Duramin-100 Fully Automatic Micro/Macro/Universal Tester

Duramin-100 range combines both a micro and universal tester. The top model covers a wide load range from 10 gf to 250 kgf, and includes a motorised XY-stage, motorised test head, overview camera, laser guide and 8-position turret. Duramin-100 is available in 3 load ranges and is suitable for Vickers, Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing. Add-on modules include Kc fracture measurements, mapping and weld measurements.

Minitom is a small, low-speed, precision cut-off machine for sectioning all types of materials. Maximum specimen size: 30 mm dia. The cutting speed is continuously variable and the motor is designed to ensure that the selected speed remains constant at any load. The required specimen size can be set with an accuracy of + 0.01 mm, by means of a micrometer screw. Minitom is very easy to operate, with fixation of the specimen and the setting of specimen size, cutting speed, and cutting pressure taking only a few minutes.

Minitom uses CBN and diamond cut-off wheels with a diameter of 75 mm (3") to 127 mm (5") and a center hole diameter of 12.7 mm (1/2").

Dia Duo is a diamond suspension and cooling lubricant combined into one product. The ratio of diamonds and lubricant has been selected carefully, and is based on many years of experience at Struers. You will therefore never overdose the expensive diamonds. Since only one product has to be applied, it is well suited for labs without automatic dosing systems, improving both reproducibility and preparation economy.

The Tegramin preparation system elegantly combines ease of use with advanced functionality. lnnovative solutions improve preparation results and help you deal with a variety of specimens or materials,or high specimen volume.

Tegramin is available for two different disc sizes: Tegramin-30 for 300 mm disc and Tegramin-25 for 250 mm disc. On Tegramin-30: up to 6 single specimens of 50 mm dia. and specimen holders size 160 mm or 200 mm dia. On Tegramin-25: up to 6 single specimens of 40 mm dia. or 3 single specimens of 50 mm dia. and specimen holders size 140 mm or 160 mm dia.Two different dosing modules are available for Tegramin: One module with two pumps for DP-Suspensions or lubricants, and one module with two pumps for DP Suspensions or lubricants and one pump with water connection for OP-Suspensions. These modules can be combined at will, opening for six different combination possibilities and up to 7 pumps in total.

Tegramin includes a method database able to store as many as 200 preparation methods.
