Inclined plane coefficient of friction tester made on the rigid horizontal surface. There is a smooth metal plane which can be hinged so that it can be tilted with the help if the motor and push button. There is a metal sled of specified size and weight.

                   The motor, pullies and yarn smoothly increase the angle of inclination of the plane at a rate of 1.5° ± 0.5°/s from the horizontal through an arc of 45°. The motion is free of vibration. Ther is an angle protector mounted on the instrument which indicate the angle of the sled with an accuracy of 0.5⁰

All the parts are chrome plated/painted/powder coated for corrosion resistant long life of the instrument.
