Information technology (IT) Syllabus is 90% same as Computer Science & Engineering in the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

It is a set of tools, processes and methodologies such as Coding/Programming, Data Communications, Data Conversion, Storage, and Retrieval, System Analysis and Design, System Control and associated equipment employed to Collect, Process and Present Information. Department of Information Technology have the Industrial Tie-ups with Unisys, EMC, Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, RedHat for the Specialization in the Technology and Institutional Membership of IEI, CSI, & IEEE_CS for the Research work. That gives the added advantage to the student in the field of Information Technology for the Good Placement, Higher Studies and Research Work.

A. The minimum academic qualification for admission to B Tech/B E program in Rajasthan is a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to "SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non creamy layer SBC" of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan / Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE).

B. Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B Tech/B E courses shall be as under

Taking Cognizance of the tremendous growth in Automotive Sector, ARYA OLD MAIN CAMPUS started the program Automobile Engineering in 2004. Since then the department has established relevance and focus in all aspects of its endeavors. The involvement spans a very broad spectrum of activities in the automotive field that covers experimentation and analysis of a wide range of technical applications manufacturing of automotive parts, organizational and management aspects of industry. SAE collegiate club is functioning in the department and arranges guest lectures by eminent personalities from major automotive concerns and institutions. We have regular interactions with major automotive giants like Volvo, Eicher Motors, Birla Tyre, Asia Motor Works, Mahindra & Mahindra, BMW, Ashok Leyland, etc. The department is well equipped with laboratories such as engine-testing, latest exhaust gas analyzer, pressure crank angle measurement systems, etc. we are presently supervising some excellent & creative projects like hovercraft, HHO Booster, GO-Kart, Multi Fuel Vehicle, Solar Powered Vehicle, Anti Theft Vehicles where the students are provided with a wonderful platform to apply their skills.
