Detailed Engineering Phase:

• Once the basic design package is approved,detail engineering initiates.
• Provide a risk analysis for the relevant areas of the facility and equipment as a precursor to the validation master plan.
• Concentrate on the final design calculations, equipment sizing, equipment specifications etc. Detail drawings such as building details, duct work and piping drawings shall be prepared.
• A permit package will be provided to assist the client to obtain relevant permits. Any special drawings or documents required to obtain permit process shall be provided. All bill of quantities (BOQ) for each contract will be developed and provided to obtain quotes. All related specifications and drawings shall also be provided. This shall be followed up by producing construction drawings, schedules and specifications.

Basic Engineering Phase:

• Generate alternative plant layouts meeting GMP requirements.
• On approval of layout, prepare a dimensional plan of plant to include walls and columns with elevations showing column and beam sizes and elevation of floor and slabs.
• Prepare man and material flow diagrams for manufacturing facility.
• Preliminary AHU zoning / area classification drawings and AHU layout.
• Prepare basis of design for HVAC, pressure differential with air flow diagram, electrical, effluent treatment, fire hydrant & sprinkler system.
• Prepare basis of design for process area equipment and piping, vacuum systems, extraction and scrubber system, SRP, solvent store tanks etc.
• Prepare basis of design for treatment, purification, filtration and distribution of various utility systems like water, steam, compressed air, gases, solvents, etc.
• P&IDs for process and utilities.
• Prepare preliminary pipe rack routing for major pipe rack.
• Electric power estimate for the plant and proposal of HT and LT distribution.
• Civil finishes schedule.
• Prepare budgetary project cost and submit ± 25 % cost estimate.
