Ashok Leyland 4020 Engine & GearBox: The 4020 tractor-trailer comes with the familiar H series, 6 cylinders, CRS engine with iGen-6 technology, producing 200hp of power at a max torque of 700 Nm in 1200-1900 rpm range. And the engine is complemented with a 6-speed synchromesh gearbox.

Ashok Leyland 4020 Suspensions: Front suspension is semi-elliptic multi-leaf with an option of parabolic springs. At the rear is a semi-elliptic multi-leaf with parabolic helper springs.

Ashok Leyland 4020 Axle: The rear axle is fully floating single speed with an option of unitized wheel bearings. The front axle is forged I section in reverse Elliot type with unitized wheel bearings comes as an option.
