Description:
- Silencer coating is a heat-resistant (up to 600°c), corrosion protective coating for mufflers. Based on a special combination of zinc, zinc and aluminium and modern binders, it builds up a very heat-resistant firm film that gives good adhesion and anti-corrosion properties. The spray can be used on many metals such as iron, steel, galvanized steel, pipes. Such as iron, copper, brass etc. It minimizes sound, stops pipe rusting, and gives old worn exhaust pipes, silencer and ducts on exhaust a new look.
- Can be used as a primer under a heat-resistant topcoat or as a one can system (2 spray applications).
- Remove all rust and dirt, let it dry. Cover parts which are not to be painted. 2–3 spray passes will be ideal during application. Shake the spray can for at least 3 minutes before use. Spraying distance should be approx. 20–30 cm. After spraying, invert the spray can and press the nozzle until only pure propellant emerges.
