Lab-Training dot com was started with a vision to share our knowledge and skills acquired over decades for the benefit of career aspirants and laboratory professionals. With this objective in mind the Training and Development division was established in the year 2009. The concept of a dedicated training site originated about a year and a half back.
Dr Saurabh Arora, a seasoned professional, felt there was a need for sharing our expertise and skills with budding professionals and practicing chemists engaged in fields of quality control and research in industrial laboratories, academic research, environmental monitoring and government controlled laboratories. Courses on analytical techniques are customized and upgraded as per feedback and training needs of trainees.
We made our beginning with launch of free e-learning courses on popular topics such as HPLC and GC. These courses comprised of several modules covering essential basics and practical tips on use of such techniques for the practicing chemist. Our HPLC certificate course has been launched and other certificate courses covering other popular laboratory techniques such as AAS, ICP – MS, spectroscopic analysis, pre-formulation studies and routine chemical analysis are in the pipeline and will be launched in due course. Our training site also publishes useful analytical information and tips regularly and such posts have been widely applauded in the discussion forums. Our aspirations are to reach a level where scientists and professionals across the world use this site as a useful resource for information and practical guidance on analysis techniques and laboratory operations.
