ICAT introduces an integrated multi-user library system under the Technical Information Services (TIS).The multi-user library system is designed to offer on-line public access and powerful search and query facilities on subjects pertaining to automotives and automotive industry.

  ICAT is committed on the objective to achieve world class R & D center assisting  the automotive sector.The organization works in the diversified spectrums of  vehicle R&D, such as database generation of fuel properties; technology  development; and many more. ICAT’s R&D projects for technology  development are exclusively designed top meet the commercial expectations of  the automotive market. Backed by a team of well-qualified and industry  experienced automobile engineers, we at ICAT are dedicated to provide a quality  output from all development projects.

ICAT is notified by Government of India as an independent Type Approval agency, offering Type Approval / Homologation as one of its core services. The organization undertakes certification procedures of vehicles and components to authorize them for Type Approval / Homologation.

TIS will also play a leading role in providing access to colossal online SAE databases, including the full length articles and the abstracts. Proposal is underway to seek on line bibliographic searches from the comprehensive books, standards, abstracts and articles database of TIS.
