The DCU 305 R3 LT is a class-approved engine panel for non-CANbus engines, and is the direct successor for the DCU 305 R2 in all variants.

In addition, it combines the Classification Society requirements for separate monitoring and safety functions in one unit.

There is another version of this panel, the DCU 305 R3, that includes a J1939 CANbus interface for engines equipped with an ECM.

The panel can be configured to run in one of four main operating modes. These are:

  • Propulsion
  • Auxiliary
  • Emergency
  • Combined Auxiliary/Emergency

The included wire terminal module RK-66 has multiple I/O channels, where some have fixed functionality and others are configurable to any available function or event.

Expansion of physical I/O is available if necessary. The AK-6 unit add six 4-20 mA channels and the MK-14 unit add 14 relay channels.

The DCU 210E is a complete, standalone engine supervision unit, with a daylight-capable and responsive touch screen, IP56 environmental protection front and rear, configurable input and output channels and a brand new lightning-fast CPU.

      The RP 210 is a remote panel for the 200 Series and the 400 Series of DCU engine panels, and also for the DMU 206 CANbus Reader. The panel connects to the DCU or DMU using a standard ethernet cable.       The DCU 408 is an engine supervision unit without a local user interface. This is for use where there is no requirement for local control or indication of the systems such as in a cramped or unattended engine room. This unit (or the DCU 410 ) is a basic requirement to build a supervision system for both variable speed (propulsion or pumps) or fixed speed (generating set) diesel engines . It is a compact unit suitable for off engine mounting in a steel enclosure. The DCU 408 can accept inputs from J1939 data links, CAN open interfaces, Modbus RS485 and up to 16 analogue or digital inputs in its own right. It provides outputs in all these digital formats and via a standard Ethernet connection.

      The DCU 408 also provides engine control logic and the outputs required, including but not limited to, Pre Lubrication control, start & stop signals, both ETR and ETS, plus remote interfaces for these functions. Connections are made via clearly labelled connectors on the front of the panel needing no specialist tools.       The RP 410 is an 8.4″ colour touchscreen panel with a high resolution screen. The RP 410E can monitor and control up to eight DCU engine controllers in the Auto-Maskin 200 or 400 Series. The panel is also truly self-configuring. Any change in any engine controller’s configuration is immediately reflected into the RP 410E without any operator actions.

      The RP 410E as a direct replacement for the existing RP 410.  It has a new improved 8.4″ colour touchscreen panel and a significantly faster processor for instant response and clarity.  It is suitable for console mount, an improvement being that it is now IP56 rated when mounted, and of course, retains several IACS Society Approvals.

      RSP 305 is the correct choice for remote monitoring and control of diesel engine control panels type DCU 305. Up to four DCU 305 units can be connected to one RSP 305 Remote Panel.

      The RSP 305 Remote Panel will shorten project time frames because of the automatic configuration feature.

      It has the same high contrast/easy readable screen as the DCU 305.

      The SDU (Shut Down Unit) 410 is an independent module designed to provide the functionality required to meet Classification Society Rules up to and including UMS notations. Equipped with 8 switch channels for normally open (NO) switches, and inputs for two speed sensors, complete with wire break detection, the SDU 410 also provides for short circuit detection and protection.

      The RIO 412 is a rugged 20-channel K-type thermocouple unit with a SAE J1939 CANbus interface. It makes accurate exhaust temperature monitoring affordable and easy.

      It converts the temperature at each thermocouple channel into a value that can be read on the SAE J1939 CANbus address.

      The RIO 410 is an expansion module designed to allow specifiers to integrate the demanding variety of sensors and switches found today on vessels into the DCU or other ships systems.

      The DCU can accept up to 4 RIO’s, and with 24 inputs, for switches, PT100 and 4 – 20mA sensors, and 2 off 24v outputs and 2 off relay outputs, this means each DCU can accept over 100 input/outputs utilizing the RIO 410’s.

      The RIO 425 is a dedicated interface module to allow parameters from an AC alternator to be displayed on the DCU and the Ethernet network. Capable of integrating with voltages of 520VAC phase-phase, and up to 300VAC phase-neutral, plus phase currents, the unit also measures frequency, power factor and Total kW.
