BP Exterior Cement Primer is prepared with a special grade of acrylic binder and pigment that provides extra whiteness with excellent opacity. It reduces porosity of the wall which thereby reduces efflorescence. It forms a water resistant film on the surface which prevents water and dissolved salts from penetrating the film. It protects the top coat from damage and helps to provide longer life of the total paint system. It penetrates the porous surface, reduces the absorption of the surface and as a result, top coat gives better coverage.

Berger WeatherCoat Exterior Primer is formulated with special grade pigment, that provides extra whiteness with excellent opacity. Area of application:

• It is of multipurpose use. It can be used as simple undercoat on cement, concrete, plaster or tiles surface both in interior and exterior.

Surface Preparation:

• Remove all dirt, loose paint, flakes using wire mesh. 
• Fill minor cracks with Home Shield Crack Fill Paste.
• Cracks which are larger than 5mm have to be filled up with cement work. 
• Let it dry completely, Check moisture content of the substrate. 
• It should be below 12% for superior performance of the primer.

It is an economic alkyd based primer suitable for mild steel surface. Red Oxide Primer is an oil modified alkyd based primer suitably pigmented with micro fine red oxide and extenders. It is ideal for ferrous metal surfaces. It is free from heavy metals like lead, mercury and chromium.

Directions For Use:

• Ensure that the surface is free from dust, dirt, loose particles and moisture.
• 1 or 2 coats of primer can be used, depending on requirement. 
• For best results, it is advisable to give 8-10 hours drying time before application of subsequent coats. 
• Do not over-thin. 
• Stir well before use. 

Surface Preparation:

• Remove grease, oil and other contaminants preferably by using Bison Degreasing Solvent. 
• Blast clean to minimum of standard 2½ Swedish standard SIS 05 5900 with a surface profile not exceeding 35-40 microns. 
• If blasting is not practical, make full use of mechanical tools along with manual chipping and wire brushing to remove loose rust and scale to Std 2 Swedish Standard SIS 05 5900.
• Excessive burnishing of steel is to be avoided.

BP Cement Primer (Water Thinnable) is prepared with 100% acrylic binder and micro fined pigments along with extenders and different additives. It is an air drying low smell primer which provides hard tough film. It is good for interior masonry and asbestos surfaces and is free from any heavy metals. It is a high whiteness primer with high chalk resistance and opacity.

Surface Preparation:

• Ensure the surface is rubbed properly with Sand Paper No. 60/80/100/120 in phases to ensure all dirt is removed.
• Wipe clean with water and make sure the surface is fully dry. 

Application:

• Apply 1 Coat of BP Cement Primer (WT) after diluting properly and straining clean through a clean cloth. 
• Brushing viscosity should be 40-50 sec at 30°C in Ford Cup B4; for spray application viscosity should be 25-40 sec at 30°C in Ford Cup B4.

Crack Fill Powder is a cement based polymer modified material used for filling cracks on plaster surfaces having upto 5 mm width and 5 mm depth cracks. It has good adhesion properties ,is non sagging , non shrinking in properties and had good weathering durability.
