UCC28750 is a highly-integrated current-mode, continuous-conduction-capable, PWM controller optimized for high performance, low standby power, and cost effective offline flyback converter applications using an opto-coupler. During light-load conditions the device enters frequency foldback and burst modes, improving light-load efficiency. The burst-mode algorithm used in UCC28750 controls the minimum effective switching frequency to prevent audible noise during light-load conditions. Frequency dithering improves EMI performance, and is active in normal, frequency foldback, and power boost operations. UCC28750 provides protection features that enable a robust converter design with minimal external components. Output over-power protection (OPP) and cycle-by-cycle over-current limit protect the load and power-stage components from electrical stress. Overvoltage and under-voltage lockout (OVLO and UVLO) prevent switching in unwanted input conditions. The FLT pin provides line brown-out sensing and protection, or external over-temperature and overvoltage protection, depending on the device variant. The FLT pin is also used to disable the device through external control by pulling the pin to ground, regardless of the device variant

The ISL83202 is a medium-frequency H-Bridge FET driver capable of 1A (typ) of peak drive current that is designed Save and Continueto drive high- and low-side N-Channel MOSFETs in mediumvoltage applications. The TPS65150 device offers a very compact and small power supply solution that provides all three voltages required by thin film transistor (TFT) LCD displays. With an input voltage range of 1.8 V to 6 V the device is ideal for notebooks powered by a 2.5-V or 3.3-V input rail or monitor applications with a 5-V input voltage rail. Additionally the TPS65150 device provides an integrated high current buffer to provide the VCOM voltage for the TFT backplane. Two regulated adjustable charge pump driver provide the positive V(VGH) and negative V(VGL) bias voltages for the TFT. The device incorporates adjustable power-on sequencing for V(VGL) as well as for V(VGH). This avoids any additional external components to implement application specific sequencing. The device has an integrated high-voltage switch to isolate V(VGH). The same internal circuit can also be used to provide a gate shaping signal of V(VGH) for the LCD panel controlled by the signal applied to the CTRL input. For highest safety, the TPS65150 device has an integrated adjustable shutdown latch feature, which allows application-specific flexibility. The device monitors the outputs (V(VS), V(VGL), V(VGH)); and, as soon as one of the outputs falls below its power good threshold, the device enters shutdown latch, after its adjustable delay time has passed by.

The MAX481, MAX483, MAX485, MAX487–MAX491, and MAX1487 are low-power transceivers for RS-485 and RS422 communication. Each part contains one driver and one receiver. The MAX483, MAX487, MAX488, and MAX489 feature reduced slew-rate drivers that minimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, thus allowing error-free data transmission up to 250kbps. The driver slew rates of the MAX481, MAX485, MAX490, MAX491, and MAX1487 are not limited, allowing them to transmit up to 2.5Mbps. These transceivers draw between 120µA and 500µA of supply current when unloaded or fully loaded with disabled drivers. Additionally, the MAX481, MAX483, and MAX487 have a low-current shutdown mode in which they consume only 0.1µA. All parts operate from a single 5V supply. Drivers are short-circuit current limited and are protected against excessive power dissipation by thermal shutdown circuitry that places the driver outputs into a high-impedance state. The receiver input has a fail-safe feature that guarantees a logic-high output if the input is open circuit. The MAX487 and MAX1487 feature quarter-unit-load receiver input impedance, allowing up to 128 MAX487/ MAX1487 transceivers on the bus. Full-duplex communications are obtained using the MAX488–MAX491, while the MAX481, MAX483, MAX485, MAX487, and MAX1487 are designed for half-duplex applications.
