The Permanent Mould Process involves manufacture of Grey Iron castings in Grey Iron moulds. Component cavities are accurately copy milled on mould blanks by using CAD/CAM. Metal is melted in hot blast cupola of 5 T / Hr capacity. Dies are mounted on the rotating carousels and the molten metal is poured. The castings produced are then annealed, finished, inspected and despatched to the customers.

The Permanent Mould Castings produced in our foundry have the advantages of consistent dimensions over large volumes of production, easy machinability, dense, non-porous structure, very close dimensional tolerances and high degree of pressure tightness ideal for hydraulic applications.

Sand Foundry Iron Casting

Ductile and Grey iron castings are produced in DISAMATIC high pressure flaskless greensand moulding lines. Two of the three lines are exclusively dedicated for ductile iron production.

In DISAMATIC process, moulds are produced by squeezing sand at high pressure and then moved in a string without displacement by automatic mould conveyors through pouring and cooling zones. Pouring of treated metal is by semi-automated pouring system. After in-mould cooling, the castings are separated from sand by tumbling in a cooling drum. The transportation of castings and sand are entirely by automated conveyor systems.
