The Department of Civil Engineering, started in the year 2009, offers BE (Civil Engineering), ME (Construction Engineering & Management) & ME (Structural Engineering). The department activities are planned with dual inputs from Industry and reputed academic bodies in the state. Also, the department strengthens its core activities periodically with inputs from Industry civil engineers and contractors, some of whom are trustees of the Institution. In addition to regular academic activities. the department strives to transform students into a pragmatic Civil Engineer by involving students in solving field level problems with needed guidance from faculty members.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in the year 2009 with an intake of 60 students in the UG programme which was increased to 120 intake in 2012.The PG programme in Engineering Design is started in the year 2013 with an intake of 24. The department aims to develop mechanical engineers who are innovative, entrepreneurial and equipped to become global leaders in research and technology. The objectives of the department are to graduate individuals who can design systems, components or processes to meet desired needs within the realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, health, safety and manufacturability.

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering is evergreen in terms of scope and job prospects and is multi-disciplinary in nature, representing an indisputable synergy of different technologies ranging from Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic, Micro-Controllers, Digital Signal Processing, Micro Electro Mechanical Systems and VLSI Design to core subjects of Generation, Transmission and Distribution of power, Power System Operation & Control, Protection & Switch Gear, Electrical Machines, and Power Electronics.

Electrical Engineers are expected to have fantabulous time with a rapid employment growth in the coming decade. There is a strong demand for Electrical Engineers in almost all industrial sectors. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has been playing a vital role in producing Engineers and Technologists of highest potential since 2010.

The Department was established in 2009 with an intake of 60 students in the UG programme but soon grew to 120 intake in 2011. The objective of the department is to equip individuals so that they can define and creatively solve field level engineering problems, have strong ethical and professional conduct coupled with a concern for excellence.
