Our new Tablet Digital Friability Testers have been created and designed in such a manner that they are able to replace the bulky, troublesome and expensive models in the market today. These Friabilators have now become an accepted standard throughout the pharmaceutical industry for determining the resistance of tablets to the abrasion and shock experienced in manufacturing, packing and shipping operations. The Campbell Electronics Friabilators FT-20 are in conformance with the specifications, which are laid down in USP and other pharmacopoeia. Our standard FT-20 friabilators operate at a constant speed of 25 RPM ±1 and can be used to conduct tests on either one or two friability drums or on one or two abrasion drums. These testers are also useful when used with one friability drum and one abrasion drum for making comparisons between the two parameters under identical test conditions.
