I am a wedding photographer that combines photojournalism with a little bit of directed photography: I create images that not only record the special moments of your day as they happen but also capture formal shots as and where requested. I'm there to record your day, not to dominate it. I work in an informal and unobtrusive way in order to capture the atmosphere and tell the story of your day with contemporary and candid images.
As a wedding photographer, I am fully aware that I'm part of one of the most important days of your lives. I consider myself to be a 'people' person who will not only get on with you but your guests also. My discreet style enables me to create a 'storyboard' of your wedding day, highlighting both moments you remember and maybe the ones you don’t. I focus on the relationships between people, capturing their expressions and emotions, often taking the picture without anyone knowing. While my approach is of a photojournalistic nature I also mix this with a more contemporary style.Couples often request a mixture of reportage with the traditional. Staged pictures can also be captured such as group shots when requested - but efficiently and with a minimum of fuss to allow plenty of time to hunt out more candid shots.
